i hope someone in the entertainment industry makes a series that derives from heroes, or else brings them all back in time or a parralell universe or something- asically a total rewrite so that we dont get a crappy series finale that ends in a cliff hanger to never reopen
i stop watching the show when he lost all the powers. The only thing that kept me watching the show was watching an OverPowered Character learning his power.
to be completely honest, i really enjoyed watching heroes all the way until arthur petrelli took his powers away, what the director could have done is to at least copy his powers instead of stealing them OR take his powers until peter earn his trust then arthur return them, anyhow im still gonna buy 5th season (if they will start selling it) and see if they change anything since that time even if its not, i would keep all of it
I don't understand what was wrong with Tim Kringe.He had a great formula that could have been as good as Smallville or even better but in and after the first season,he just started to kill of characters like crazy.D.L. Hawkins,Isaac Mendez,Linderman,Simone,Niki Sanders,Kaito,Kensei,Nathan Petrelli.And then they take away the one thing that made him more special than the rest, his empathic mimicry.By the time we reach the series finale, the show is unrecognisable and tasteless.

I think it's telekinesis because he didn't close his eyes when he tried to stop the taser and if you look closely Claude's mouth is moving like he's breathing hard.
Why I put it as telekinisis is because first of all after he stops them they fell down.. if he had stopped time they would just continue going to peter, secondly claude who is next to him is not frozen in time and thirdly I think that noah is not actually frozen but is just a slow motion effect of the movie showing peter stoping the teases to make it greater

As many of us know Peter starts off next season as a "dark knight" saving people as best he can, disconnected from his family. However he gets a new love interest, a powerful woman who convinces him of the importance his family connections. (I'll bet my top dollar this is the start of him regaining empathic mimicry)
Btw when he stopped the tazers mid air that was more time freezing than telekenisis.
Also Peter still has empathic mimicry, confirmed by writers afaik - He's jsut been out of touch with his empathic side and thus hasn't been able to access it, this is due to the betrayal of his mother, father and brother amongst the fact he went on a "killing spree" when he was plagued with the hunger.
i thot it was Sylar who had empathic mimicry, cuz after he lost his powers he regained telekinesis becuz of his obvious remorse from killing Brian Davis.

i agree there.....his original power was to see how the brain works and to be able to gain their power through empathy...if he hadn't killed Brian Davis to begin with maybe he could've gotten to know him well enough to just gain the power without killing...i believe SYlar might actually be able to work just like Peter's power to absorb the powers of others but he took a whole different routeand began to kill them to get the power
the greed and bloodthirst came from his undertstanding that since Biran Davis didn't want his power that people didn't deserve the power that was given to them so he would take it from them.....peter wouldn't inherit that from Sylar cuz so far he's come into contact with Sylar a number of times and he's not a monster like Sylar is....Peter is by far my favorite character
Sylar has his bloodthirst for other abilities - came from his father. The last Season 3 episode 19 revealed that. so you are wrong... Peter went back in time to talk to a different Sylar and Sylar told him how to obtain the bloodthirst power. You need to go back and watch Season 3 again.

Sylar is actually the most powerful heroe-- think back to the powers he has since season one-- Freezing, Atomic power, extensive hearing, regeneration (cant die) - telekinesis, paint future, manipulate illusions, able to detect lies, lightning, sound manipulation, more to come
If we compare powers itself, Peter is more powerful than Sylar becuase he can copy all the power he wants with just touch other people, even if Sylar can use those power at fullest faster than Peter he needs to kill them (is true that Sylar is an empath too but he needs a lot of effort to do what Peter do with just touch). And other thing, Claire and Sylar can die if they got decapitated.

Also Peter still has empathic mimicry, confirmed by writers afaik - He's jsut been out of touch with his empathic side and thus hasn't been able to access it, this is due to the betrayal of his mother, father and brother amongst the fact he went on a "killing spree" when he was plagued with the hunger.

That's how i do it anyway, i go to school from 7am to 5pm and then back to school from 6pm to 9pm, so i know how hard it is to watch your favorite show. i agree there.....his original power was to see how the brain works and to be able to gain their power through empathy...if he hadn't killed Brian Davis to begin with maybe he could've gotten to know him well enough to just gain the power without killing...i believe SYlar might actually be able to work just like Peter's power to absorb the powers of others but he took a whole different routeand began to kill them to get the power

the greed and bloodthirst came from his undertstanding that since Biran Davis didn't want his power that people didn't deserve the power that was given to them so he would take it from them.....peter wouldn't inherit that from Sylar cuz so far he's come into contact with Sylar a number of times and he's not a monster like Sylar is....Peter is by far my favorite character

Sylar has his bloodthirst for other abilities - came from his father. The last Season 3 episode 19 revealed that. so you are wrong... Peter went back in time to talk to a different Sylar and Sylar told him how to obtain the bloodthirst power. You need to go back and watch Season 3 again.

If we compare powers itself, Peter is more powerful than Sylar becuase he can copy all the power he wants with just touch other people, even if Sylar can use those power at fullest faster than Peter he needs to kill them (is true that Sylar is an empath too but he needs a lot of effort to do what Peter do with just touch). And other thing, Claire and Sylar can die if they got decapitated.

he got telekinesis back because that was the first ability he copied and his powers are based in empathy, just like peter. sylar feels such quilt for his first kill (brian davis) that he has a strong bond with his telekineis.

actually he might. i have a theory that might explain nikki's multiple personalities. because she viewed the eclipse through micas pinhole camera in season 1 instead of looking directly at it, it created her MPD's.
