It is bad its setting a bad example to the kids not only playing on the field but also the kids in the stands.The are and will be disagreements and when you have disagreements you have violence.One of these days if this kind of activity keeps going on someone will get serously hurt.You dont think the kids realize that their preformance on the field effects peoples economic feature.That is the problem with society now we have responsible people influencing the generation coming up.

The hypocrisy of all of this amazes me. Do you really think that only drug dealers bet on youth football? Do you really think that this does not happen in the predominantly white leagues? These are the same people who bet on horses, come on???I think America needs to get over themselves. People gamble on almost everything..lotto, stocks, horses, cards, dominoes, dice, swim meets, hockey, NFL, Golf, if it's competitive then theres probably a pool for it

did you see those fights that were going on! another thing, its similar to college recruiting in that you cant pay people to do something. It is morally wrong to bet on a youth football game. That one football player ended up not going to college because of the influence of those gamblers. He thought he could be like them, and that is the problem with this.
@iownallya honestly im not trying to down on anyone , but look at where the kid grew up im not saying it wasnt possible for him to get out of the hood , but i believe his chances were slim and even slimmer on going to the NFL , judging by how many other contestants . As for the fightings thats everywhere you look in this world at least its about something that matters in this world .
