  • Does anyone else think she looks a bit like Spencer Hastings from Pretty Little Liars?

  • @Laurennn232 huahua! yes she does !

  • I constantly beat it to this in the morning.

  • are you single?

  • I loved this. It really helped me relax. I must try this at work the next time I'm feeling stressed.

  • THANKS A LOT :)

  • This is a very useful, informative and may I say sexy video. Great stuff

  • Eastern meditation and yoga are being used by vibrant young businessmen, athletes and children for achieving better, healthier living. How ironic that these religious practices were originally designed in India to prepare the dying Hindu for the reincarnation process.

  • I love the Charlie Brown music=]

  • If do this there with you, I think my anxiety will go forever :)

  • @avo19890702 lol

  • @thinkofwhy WHile you can say that this is the ultimate truth for yourself it is highly presumptuous and wrong to say no caffeine = no anxiety. I don't drink caffeine and have been suffering from anxiety for three of the past four weeks. You are over simplifying things. Anxiety has not only physical triggers but emotional ones and once the state is there these elements can feed off each other. Like most complex problems there is normally no one quick fix.

  • @missputiputi What I meant was that caffeine is a trigger of anxiety, not merely a cause. An anxiety attack requires multiple contributing factors, and caffeine is one of many potential contributing factors. It's a major trigger, but by no means the only trigger.

Something other than your mental state is triggering your attacks. Usually it will be some dietary factor. But another major factor is lack of physical activity. A fit body can handle stress better than an unfit body.

  • I can hardly hear you and my volume is on high.

  • This is great stuff, last night I left a comment on an Intent blog that asked what I do to release anxiety, then I found this here, I wrote that I do zazen & stretch etc., so here you are showing me how to add a wonderful stretch after I come out of zazen. I'll try this out today in the park.

  • Hi Tara, thanks for your videos. they are very helpful.

    Namaste, Addie

  • Very good!

Why don't you make partner's yoga examples?

  • Naughty and nice... I know I have something for some sex man!

  • you've got to get rid of that horrible noise!

  • Believe it or not that's interference caused by a wireless router. Doesn't need to be a router in your apartment either.

  • I've heard that it is actually a setting on the computer where there is interference from the speakers if you do not set them to mute while recording.

  • THe interference is recognized through a device like speakers, but it ultimately is coming from another outside source. But you may be right, there should be a way to mute what the speakers pick up as opposed to what is recorded. ;)

  • very relaxing.

  • This is good thing to do before sex lol

  • so hot

  • It was so cool 2 see you on the huffingtonpost. thats another thing i like about you. keep us interested :)

  • that is EXACTLY what i did in my yoga class today..

  • Thanks Tara for uploading this video!!

    I will try this

  • CAFFEINE is a primary cause of anxiety. So is sugar, like d'ah.

  • Well...sure large amounts can cause anxiety to kick in...

But if we are talking about day to day, hour by hour Anxiety. Mostly it comes to age. A great amount of people get anxiety attacks when they enter their early 20s. So its new and they don't really know whats going on. Its something thats not really taught to kids/young teens when they are in school.

Instead they are taught useless stuff... Anyways good video. If you don't have insurance try popping some kava pills or kava tea.

  • more like genetics. If you feel anxious all the time its in your genes to feel that way, and takes behavioural therapy to correct it. Age is irrelevant

  • A lot people experience these in their early 20s. It doesn't have to be genetic related. Although genetic related anxiety does happen to people but they more experience it at a young age throughout life.

Your 20s is when you go through certain changes and experience different levels of stress depending on occupation. These can be stress related but if one is not educated it can grow into other things and phobias. So it can go both ways.

I banged a psychologist back in the day. So Im certified.

  • yyyea im still more right than you.

  • Cooool.... Good Luck with that.

  • with what

  • The effects of caffeine last for days, and it only take one or two coffees, or cappuccinos, so it doesn't take much.

And that's the point, anxiety is a potential state that is always ready to be triggered, and that's what caffeine and sugar do, they trigger an underlying potential.

I wouldn't have had anxiety attacks if I didn't consume caffeine. And I wouldn't have cured my attacks if I didn't quit caffeine. It's that simple. No caffeine = no anxiety attacks.

  • @thinkofwhy I can see how this may be true if one has never consumed caffine in his or her life time or any stimulate or sedating substance that can trigger excessive dopamine reactions but then again anxiety usually comes from emotional and physical stress even if they are not the result of a substance. I have suffered from anxiety off and on since I was a kid and no way was I consuming caffine. Your statement should be more like "No caffine = No dopamine."

  • TuxIsCool is right...

  • Thanks Rakeer,

Yeah someone just left a comment so I was lost for a minute sense I wrote this like over a month ago haha...

It seems people are confused on here.. They think Anxiety is just one general form.. Of course people have anxiety when they consume large amounts of a caffeine.

But then there is Anxiety which like I said is hour by hour day by day without caffeine... Caffeine is irrelevant as you will have an attack without caffeine.

  • Yeah, it's just general mis-education, though thinkofwhy isn't incorrect, what he said is a fallacy still, as we well know.. ;)

Yoga and exercise in general is great for improving well-being, (reducing anxiety) and Tara is in my age range so it's easier to relate to her videos.

  • Hey... where is the Dooong at the end.... I was expecting it.

  • Thanks Tara. This routine is great for anyone to start the day with or wind down after a very, very, stressful day. Loved the music too.

    Peace, love and namaste,
