some states like Georgia dont require motorcycle emissions (THANK GOD) so we can put a full exhaust on and not have to worry about an inspection. riders beware of the local emissions laws. some states may require an inspection for motorcycles. SICK ASS SOUNDING EXHAUST for 1200 bux!

@digimarine g'day mate could you please tell where your new system from - I've researched and found six US dealers prices approx 1500-2000. i've got k9 750, can't wait to get rid of cat box. do you have a power commander / dyno jet as well? if so what are the hp comparisons? cheers, enjoy your bike.
Dunno - I got my bike for a steal, it had 12000k's on it and full akra system, plastic film over the fairings with a k&n filter and dyno'd - didn't need a chop because the fuel to air ratio was fine, owned by a mechanic for $11000aud - which is awesome, there are ones with 20'000k's going to $14000. that being said, i have owned 4 supersport bikes and a naked bike and this is the winner, 1000cc is overkill - you won't flip this and it's just as quick up to 250kph
yeah totally - don't get me wrong, its fun having that much power but you never really get to utilise it, or i don't anyway..but if you get the gsxr - the akra is the best sounding pipe and its the worlds leading exhaust for all bikes..costs a bit more but its well worth it

@m1brett - go for some test rides also, not ragging honda's but they are known to be under powered/smoother power banded than the suzuki/kawasaki/yamaha, except the new 09 fireblade is fuckin nuts! that has SO much balls! but if you feel that it has too much power then you can whack a power commander on it and remap the fuel to give it less wheel pop action..

@cartman934life - that's a tricky one, i think everyone should learn on a 250 because if you crash it chances are it won't cost as much and you won't be going as fast - if you don't know what your doing on a bike that can go 300kph then you could get into some trouble. that being said, i've owned 6 bikes and this is the best one so far the power to weight is spot on not to mention looking badass, suzuki have a growl in the engine different to the other inline 4 jap sports bikes, i'm a big fan.
@cartman934life - even if its for 3-6 months you're best to start with a smaller engine and learn what you can and cannot do, thats why so many people crash bikes because they are not experienced and go and get a fast bike because they think fuck yeah i like motorbikes and then they go and ride beyond their abilities..
I would have to say if not 250/500, start with a 6... supersport bikes are fun and pretty fast... I have my 06 6RR and it pulls me around wheelies and all... I'm going to move to a 750 here if not this then next season.. Don't be fooled by joe blow on a 1k.. they are a lot to handle even for some experienced riders.. the SuperSport class has a lot to offer.. plus you can watch races on TV and say, Hey that's my bike! just my 2c. nakanoha is right tho, I've dumped my RR and my oops cost me $1000
@nakanoha ya Ive been told by my buddies (k6 k7 750s) that the akra pipes give the most hp too... they stand by em big time.. I have an 06 cbr600rr and I favor the leo vince evo setups...
@m1brett - yeah the akra pipes full system/slip on will give you the most hp gain (which is why they cost the most) but that's not to say they are for everyone, for general street use the average rider (like me) won't really notice the power gain that much so best to go with what you like the look and sound of. I totally dig the leo vince pipes too some of them are great especially on the 08 Z750's - for the 08 ZX10R the Vance & Hines are my favourite and I'm a big fan of the Jardine RT1 also!
ha ya being a honda rider I gotta stand by the jardine system... I'm debating on selling it and going for a k8/k9 750 just because I am gettin tired of the 600 class...I love my RR, but the seat is a brick, there's no compartment space (sunglasses and that's about it) and I want power... no tracks around here so I don't necessarily need something to throw over through twisties... I debate the 1k/750 just because I've seen little guys throw gixxer 1ks around and kill me on straights..
@m1brett - i went with the 750 because i do a lot of twisty mountain rides and wanted something that i could really move on whilst keeping the front tyre down, the k8 750 will keep you entertained definitely, but if your after psychotic power then get a 1k for sure! my next bike will probably be a 1k but that's a while away yet, still loving customising the one that i have. 600cc is a nice class but its still a 600, 750 will hit 300kph but just take longer to get there compared with a 1k bike..
Damn, to be completely honest, i have to 2 brothers exhaust on mine and I love how deep the growl is on it. But this pipe, even though its not as deep, is fuc%ing smooth. It Just sounds smooth as $hit and is pretty has a decently deep sound. im now both a 2 bros and akrapovic fan because of this vid.

Its not called a two brothers "boost controller", i'm guessing you mean Two brothers JUICE BOX? Its basically a power commander wanna-be product. You have a o-2 sensor that runs on the pipe. And the cat = catalytic converter.
it a evolution exhaust its like 1,250. full header and with that u had to take off the 02 sensor and theres no cat so im sure it wont pass next year...
