Game Play wise imo was disliking because of the fact that with the pop cap u can be locked in the same fight over and over again. And a change in units could wreck almost everything. Really missed collecting Tiberium collecting because it it added to the spice of the game in CnC3 the whole point of tiberium was that is collectible as a resource and added to the looks of the game. The world of CnC4 looks really plain 2 what we have seen b4 in CnC3

If anyone here want to play a real RTS game, play Tom Clancy's END WAR, it throws every strategy game that EA have done or will make in the garbage. The only problem that ENDWAR have is that the story goes too fast and that helicopters are the most inefective units. But with except of that, everything in it is great. I'm currently proceeding through CNC3 in an episodic manner, like when playing NOD, work through the prequel missions in Kane's Wrath, then the TWars NOD campaign, then the late 2050s missions in KW (though I stopped in the Russia 2059 mission). I anticipated CNC4 as along the same vein as the others, until I read on the features. Get as many control nodes as possible? Isn't that the same system in COH?

The guy doing Kane is just ridiculously horrible. If they can't even get proper actors (or atleast regular bad ones) then I wonder what kind of budget this game has overall.
My first impressions were pretty negative, but it's beginning to grow on me. The campaign missions are quite good, if a bit difficult near the beginning. Co-op is also quite fun. I do get the feeling that the PvP multiplayer is a bit 1-dimensional: it basically turns into a giant kill fest.

This game is getting ridiculously low scores everywhere. Gamespot was giving it the benefit of the doubt at a 7.0. IGN gives it a 5.6, and users are giving it a 3-4 on many websites. Look around. Yes, the hardcore fans will say that it's awesome, but face it, it is not nearly as good as the previous games (Even CnC 3, which I loved). I will definitely not be wasting my money on this, when there are many other better games to buy.

I would nearly buy this game, simply for the sake of the old games. I'm seriously doubting whether or not, because I've recently realized I've played every single C&C game, except for this one, and I'm convinced this is going to be a fail, saw several gameplay trailers as well as reviews on Metacritic.
If you liked the old C&C games, you're gonna like this, but that's about it.
It's nowhere near as revolutionairy as the older games, and the campaign is pretty mediocre, and certainly doesn't do the series justice(which is a shame considering it's the last game with Kane in it).
The game isn't bad, but it's not anything new or fresh. I'd say rent it, then see if you like it, because it can still be quite enjoyable. Only sucky thing is that tank rushes are too effective.

Ea has a thing of rushing things out aaka C&C2 Ts and RA2 and 3 they rush it so a lot of problems still RA3 had so may bugs it wasnt funny i was a beta tester even when it hit the selfs there were still bugs in it

My first impressions were pretty negative, but it's beginning to grow on me. The campaign missions are quite good, if a bit difficult near the beginning. Co-op is also quite fun. I do get the feeling that the PvP multiplayer is a bit 1-dimensional: it basically turns into a giant kill fest.

This game is getting ridiculously low scores everywhere. Gamespot was giving it the benefit of the doubt at a 7.0. IGN gives it a 5.6, and users are giving it a 3-4 on many websites. Look around. Yes, the hardcore fans will say that it's awesome, but face it, it is not nearly as good as the previous games (Even CnC 3, which I loved). I will definitely not be wasting my money on this, when there are many other better games to buy.

I would nearly buy this game, simply for the sake of the old games. I'm seriously doubting whether or not, because I've recently realized I've played every single C&C game, except for this one, and I'm convinced this is going to be a fail, saw several gameplay trailers as well as reviews on Metacritic.

If you liked the old C&C games, you're gonna like this, but that's about it.
It's nowhere near as revolutionairy as the older games, and the campaign is pretty mediocre, and certainly doesn't do the series justice(which is a shame considering it's the last game with Kane in it).
The game isn't bad, but it's not anything new or fresh. I'd say rent it, then see if you like it, because it can still be quite enjoyable. Only sucky thing is that tank rushes are too effective.

There is a mod out there that uses the UR3 Engine but with Command and Conquer skins. It's actually pretty fun, and looks great too.
