i'm from porto and i would like more of this video if it showed other things. we have of course the magical douro but there are a lots of different places to visit. Porto is not just Douro, it has other places in the interior and next to the sea. All is magical. I'm sorry that people actually think mostly about Douro... THere's so much more!

Loved Porto. Its tattooed walls and classic architecture and its brutal cold war monuments are stimulating. You never know which is going to greet you around the next corner. Friendly, classy people. Decent football team. Braga just up the road. Coimbra just down the other direction. What more could you ask of a city? Oh, and the white port!

Porto has a subtle captivating charm! I fell in love with it's different shades of color mixtures while wondering through Porto's somewhat bohemian streets. They make you feel different every time! Just a pleasant stroll through Porto is enough! You don't need anything else besides that beautiful simplicity of a feeling you get while embracing this city's enthusiasm for what it is by itself.

This is a nice video but does not show you the all Porto, only the river Douro side of it... Porto is much more than this... if you are really interested in knowing one of the most beautiful, unknown cities in Europe, you have to come and know it by yourself, this video only shows and repeats a minor part of the city... you have to come... this is just the beginning of a travel you will be able to go from the 12th century up to now, you will be very well received and you will love it...

Well...I think you should have asked a native to show you around. You missed some highlight spots and you focused too much in the urban landscape. Porto is way much prettier and more special than Lisbon and the proof is that Porto historical center is Unesco World Heritage, which Lisbon is not.

@Mais1Ano I appreciate what you say, but I only had 36 hours to make this video, and during that time it rained a lot. I never use guides, they only take all your time and never stop talking when you're just trying to get on with filming. I believe the Lisbon "Baixa" does indeed have UNESCO World Heritage status. So does Sintra. Check UNESCO site.

@eurodestination Actually it is not. Only Jerónimos and Belém tower are. Don't get me wrong though, your video is pretty amazing. Very well filmed, great colours and it gives a very beautiful image about the city. I just think there would be other stuff worth of being included. Just an example, becauste is the most obvious, Clérigos Tower is missing.

Porto is a beautiful city but definitely my favourite city is Lisbon.

@eurodestination Definitely Coimbra would be on my top 10, its really a beautiful city and their University architecture its one of the wonders of the world.

As you like Coimbra, I would recommend you as well Aveiro, it's about 1 hour from Coimbra and is known as the Venice of Portugal.

Cute dog there. I love the mist and the images of the city. I would love to go around in one of the street cars, that would be kinda cool. They do not have anything like that in this small town. Lot of boats. It has been such a very long time since I have been able to go on one of those. Hopefully this year I will get a chance to go on a nice boat ride.
