Yes I will look at every little detail on the box, including the moldings for certain switches because that's the point. Apple takes time to make not only beautiful products but beautiful packaging, so it's worth taking a closer look at.

When I went they didn't even ask me for ID, just know the last 4 digits of the Social Security number of the account, your billing address, and the name of the main account holder.
