I agree with the notion that they cant keep bringing out the same old sound etc and its great to experiment with new sounds, but these tracks have lost main element of hardcore - the melody. many of these tracks start off with a good melody and build up and up but eventually only lead to a load of bassline swamped with dubstep/dnb sounds. obviously styles and breeze have cottoned on to the fact that dubstep is very popular at the moment and have exploited that.

People dont seem to realise that not EVERY producer is making these new 'dubcore' tracks, its mainly the futureworld and junkbox records eg.styles, breeze, petruccio and modulate. Theres still plenty of other producers making the 'normal' euphoric stuff, sy, joey riot etc. At the end of the day, its all about experimenting with new sounds, artists dont keep their same sound their whole career. While I do like these new tracks, I'll admit I dont wanna hear a WHOLE set of it, it needs 2 b mixed up

@robelwell88 they didn't want to mix it up to make it obvious to true Hardcore Ravers how lame it sounds compared to pure Hardcore(sometimes i think their so drugged up they under-estimate our intelligence). i listened to Hixxy's CHX7 mix straight after hearing Hixxy and Re-cons CHX8 mix, it hit me staright away that technically majority of this album is not Hardcore.

UK Hardcore has become one of the most horrible music genres in existence. What ever happened to the time where riffs were the most important thing in a uk hardcore track? The good old melodies and riffs with banging kick + bass combos used to define the uk hardcore sound. Now all you hear nowadays in hardcore is some cheesy vocal followed by a soft house kick with a minimal dirty electro bass, absolutely terrible. Furthermore, wtf is dubcore? Dubstep at 175bpm with a club kick? fuck that shit.
