Many of the punks from the 70's did cover song's of some of the 60's garage bands, because thats where their roots were. The punk movement minus the stupid costume gimmicks of some bands was a return to the roots as many of the 60's bands got famous, sold out, and went commercial by the 70's, which spawned punk. The Damned, as well as Stiv Bators did a remake of the Electric Prunes hit, as well as many others. Give some of the 70's punk bands a listen to sometime, you may like it!

I was too young to remember the 60's sound (I was born in Nov 64) but for some reason I despise the contemporary sounds out now (well, most of it anyhow) . Oh yeah - maybe because it sucks ? lol . This is good but I like 'Lost in Time' by the Satelliters more. I want to start a bar and nightclub where 'neo 60's' bands can play as I think there are a lot of people (inc. teens & 20's) that like this kind of stuff. It's a fine line though between it being cool and wallowing in the past

i've notice a few videos doing that at around the 300 mark, i think it's something to do with recent changes to ratings...seems odd...wouldn't do any harm to upload another copy just in case, you can always put one on private if the other works okay.
