  • Starkes Concept !!! Gratulation TOYOTA

  • smaller than a yaris.. geeez

  • the production version looks like shit compared to this

  • yea it dont look as good but its still a cool car

  • Too bad the production version don't have the triangular headlights

  • Absolutely :) x

  • jap scrap.

  • @Avantime ugly that way, why u want them .33

  • It is very expensive in the UK too, but seems to sell well because of the novelty of having such a small car that is - supposedly (but not practically) - a four seater. It also has some fantastic safety features (such as a world first rear-windscreen airbag), and so this might draw in a few more sales too. Plus, it is just the coolest thing to look at! :)

  • Das auto ist traumhaft, bin heute damit gefahren. der absolute hammer - bin total verliebt in den kleinen!! <3

  • It is a VERY cool little car :) Glad you had fun ;) x

  • I love this car...

    I'm gonna buy it!

  • After watching the video I want to go and see the car in real life. The song goes with the clip perfectly. The advertisement is a great job. The car won't look like this in real life? Who cares. This is what concept is about, teasing you to death, and giving you much less. :D

  • Oh yeah, it is still a great car and advert. I will definitely be taking it for a test drive when it comes out :D If only it resembled the concept a little more... Thanks for the comment ;)

  • song song songggg

  • song plz????

  • I have scoured the web, but have been unable to find the name. Perhaps someone else could help? :D

  • does anyone know the song?

  • oh we reviewed this car, very nice! great vid.

  • What a fantastic car, this i hope will sell in huge numbers! Humans need to change radically to save the planet, lets hope this is a step in the right direction!

  • After watching this video, I just fell in love with this car. I use to have a Honda CRX back when I was in high school and it was so cool looking even though only a 2-seater. I got 35-40 mpg and was very hip. Honda messed up by discontinuing it cause they wanted to go bigger. STUPID HONDA!!

I'm in my mid-30's now and this IQ car appeals to me as both sporty, sexy, and practical. I can just imagine all the looks and comments and especially because its a Toyota, they all know it's high quality.

  • i hope this kills the Smart Fortwo...40 mpg in half a car isnt that great.

  • I just so in love with this little car's styling !!! it looks way too cool, and with the big wheels (only 16 inches, people!!!) they fit nicely with the car's frofile!! BRING IT TO THE U.S MARKET !! BECAUSE.....WE ARE BEGGING YOU!!!! HAHAHAHA !!! It will give the other so called "SMART" car looks really silly!!! and to me, the name IQ sounds helarious!!! is it some kind of "BAD" intension from Toyota just to prove that they are now far more superior than the "other" German company!I guess so !!!

  • people say how the people in the united states are to blame for having really big cars but i think it is the fault of the automotive industry that hasn't made models like the smart car available in America until now, i really hope that when Toyota sees the success of the smart car in the US they decide to sell the IQ here.

  • yeah, that's a really good point

  • Some American drivers just have preference for big cars such as a 30ish man driving by himself in the hummer that takes up 1.25 lane. Many families in America has more than 2 kids (working in a clinic sometimes I see 1 mom, 4 dads, & 6 kids) and they are hungry for cars that are roomy. I don't blame the car makers because there are actual demands for cheaper, supersized cars. This generally self-centered culture needs high gas prices to help to change these thinkings.

  • yeah high gas prices are good in the way that people are now going to consider buying smaller cars that are better for the environment.

i dont blame the big families for the big cars, i think its ok when you actually need a big car.

  • stupid

  • The big auto makers in the U.S. have earned every bit of their distress. Chevy and Ford just introduced new SUVs. When gas prices hit $4, executives at GM said it was time to BEGIN thinking of efficient vehicles. Cadillac's best offering is a hybrid Escalade.

I love my Toyota Yaris! I love this car more.

Every time I see a huge SUV on the road, I'm grateful I don't have to feed it.

Big families need big cars, but that doesn't explain Detroit's failure to provide small high-efficiency vehicles

  • it will be in 2009 - but will look different to this

  • Why isn't this available in the US?

  • cool

  • I am thinking of the iQ, I was simply stating that it will be costing more than the current Aygo. I know that the new low-cost one wing-mirror Tata is the cheapest car in the world.

  • It's a much higher spec than the Aygo - the Aygo was built as a low cost. This is for comfort and style.

  • From what I have read, this will be at least £8,000 in the UK (more than the current Aygo)

  • I love small cars I have always bought small cars they are cool and easy to drive.

  • E' la macchina più bella che abbia mai visto!!!che citycar!!!!!altro che smart..

  • O kostas einai malakas.

  • ontws..

  • lol mlk

  • bah. more than $10.000

  • too expensive..i think it starts out at 8000 or something....

  • this car could be one of the future... i heard it starts out at $2500

  • THe car your thinking off it Tata Motors lost cost car, not Toyota's IQ

  • In Switzerland it is $25000.- (CHF 23000.-) now in 2009!

I don't think one can get it for $2500.- in the near future! I would like to.
