@stevieFFmaster highly doubtful as trying to get the rights to put it up would be a nightmare in of itself as Gauntlet II is owned by Atari games who were bought up by Midway who went out of business a while back, So I'm not sure if anyone owns the rights to Atari Games now, while this home version was made by Mindscape who I also believe went out of business. So in order to have this you need to have permission of who ever now owns Atari games and Mindscape if anyone does.
I can't remember the name of this one NES game and I think it might be this one. All I remember was there was a player selection screen and you could pick to be what I think was a sheep and it was invincible to spikes and stuff and you had to go through these wierd mazes and fight stuff I think. Please respond.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS GAME!! its sooo fun but i have a huge problem evrytime i start the game my first shot makes a yellow wizard come up to help me..now this would be fine and all exept HE DOESNT MOVE! I HAVE TO PUSH HIM! please tell me how to get him outta there so i can just play without dragging him evrywhere with me
no i even took my second controller out it actully activates a 3rd player slot..and i'm using a NES not an emulator..i know ur using ur nes too i just wanted to clarify that
Wow, that is weird. Does it happen with other games? If so, then sounds like a dodgy connection. If not, sounds like a dodgy cart. Either way, that ain't normal!
I used to make out to my first girl friend to this game. Whoever made it in the exit first got to kiss the other. It was good times. :*) i miss those days.
lol longest i got was 120 or so XD but my mom was playing another game when i came back from school lol i was trying how far u could get :P but people say its friggin endless is this true? but it cant be it has to end somewhere
I owned this for NES and enjoyed it - but looking back this port played WAY to slowly. The quick pace of the arcade version gave you a sense of urgency and of course was a much better challenge.
Considering G3 was on 8-bit systems, it did make a good attempt (but turned out crap in the end). It is noteworthy that the subsequent Gauntlets are all 3D in some fashion.

I don´t mean any kind of offense in next question;
Did you rip this out from a VHS? I wondered that because of the quality. (Though I like it more this way :) )

Sounds like you are activating the second player. Are you using a customer controller like those that plug into both player ports?

I had this game a long time ago. I played it so many times. The only problem was the NES control-pad. It hurt my thumbs after a long play.

This is excellent for the 8bit NES. It even has sampled speech ! Did other NES games have speech in ?
dreamcastII 2 years ago
Yeah but very short words. Roger clemens Baseball. The empire says OUT.
Adventures of Rad Gravity says at the very end. Farewell Until we meet again.
I think there is others but it was very rare for games to have sampled speech.
Check out something thats even older like the intellivision voice synthesis module which came out in 1981-82..

level 20 is near impossible, it took me 6 hours to complete from level 1-15, and 2 hours for 15-20 (8 hours of playing =P)

This is awesome. Glad you took a video of this.
It's a lot more gentle than the Arcade version but that's probably because you can't drop money into this version.
