This melody is like soft rain drops after a long & hot sunny day. Around 17 yrs ago, I heard this song on Radio ceylon in Hemant's voice while having few drinks in my room in the Officer's mess. I still remember the magical effect that has lingered on till date....my father & late uncle sang this song quite well...somehow it has been a part of my life...today hearing it in Lata ji's voice was indeed a blessing. Thanks for posting. Can you help locate Hemant's version ?
