some things really DID happen to me. It was the beginning of the game, first level, first time playing, and the weirdest thing EVER happened. A purple hat appeared on the map touchscreen thingy. I came to investigate, and there, on the chainchomp's head, lay the purple cap of waluigi. As i tried to get it, i was quickly killed, not knowing how to defeat old chompy. I later went back to find the cap gone. and i swear on the life of waluigi himself that im not lying. this was the beta of waluigi.

If you ask me you shouldn't have been able to be Yoshi, and the White Rabbit door should have been Waluigi's door. I mean really catching 7 rare and randomly placed white rabbits to get 1 star in a room that is only used once? Mario should have been the starting character, and when you get to the top of the castle with 150 stars, Yoshi will be there and give you 100 lives, just like in the N64 version. Otherwise the top of the castle reward is pointless except for 1 minigame to get lol.

Yoshi actually wasn't supposed to be in this game. Like the N64 version, you start out as Mario, and venture around and unlock Luigi, Wario, and eventually Waluigi. As you can see on the bottom left corner of 1:22, it was edited to make it look like he was playing as Yoshi, and the white door is supposed to be Waluigis door. Clever idea, Nintendo >.>

My theory with waluigi is that the game creators thought of putting him in but decided not to. Thats why there is a lot of evidence. You could maybe get him if you really mess up your game because of hacking.
