@bigstretch100 No, that's because the Constitution doesn't explicitly provide the people whose interests it is supposedly protecting (individuals, communities, states) the means of enforcing it directly (through things like nullification, secession, etc.) If central gov't is enforcing limits on its own power, well, guess what - it will keep discovering new powers all the time, until it takes it all. There will always be lawless pricks, the question is how are we to protect our freedoms from them

with all due respect judge, as a constitutional scholar, you should be aware that ever since Lincoln's first executive order, the States have been under martial rule. this is supported by the emergency powers act, perpetual renewal of emergencies and the conversion of all states into defacto corporate powers. this is demonstrated by the admiralty flags that fly at all courts and government buildings, including schools. However the Constitution is real to most people, and is therefore the most reasonable place to start a conversation about govt.
