@matzoball101 Yeah, I loved (and still do) Melee, and I really don't see how Brawl is slower. It's just improved upon in every way. Except maybe the stages, I loved the stages in Melee and some of the Brawl ones are kind of meh.

i could go in great detail how and why melee is a faster, more intense and competitive game but I would just ask you to watch a pro match on youtube or something

the sse emmisary was a really shitty 1P mode. It was too repetitive, and the second last level is basically DO THE WHOLE GAME OVER AGAIN. And Tabuu was just a completely stupid concept. a mystery character with no backstory that was probably thought up last minute

any other pros i can see are just givens, like level editor (which was limited and simplistic) and fight replays

but both those things were things people wanted from the start but the consoles didnt have the system requirements

also just more characters (most that were broken or just lame) and trophy's was also an example of shoving as much shit into the game as possible, in an attempt to make the replay value higher in compensation for shit gameplay

@matzoball101 Brawl is a little slower than Melee. But it's DEFINITELY not boring. I don't see how that could make it boring. I've had so much fun playing it with friends and people online. And why would any characters need a backstory?! IT'S SUPER SMASH BROTHERS.

Melee defiantly had a better intro, no doubt about that. Brawl's intro is really just a bunch of the cutscenes from the sunspace emissary put together with music. However, Brawl is a better game than Melee in my opinion. It pretty much improves on everything! Oh, and having an actual story mode with cutscenes was an awesome edition to the game! Let's cross our fingers for voice acting in the next Super Smash Bros. though!

How The Hell is Melee better than Brawl? You have more Characters in Brawl Melee has so many duplicates. You can use Game Cube Controller for Brawl. You get FINAL SMASHES in brawl. There a more stages. Dont get Me wrong I love both games but Melee is not better

Melee's intro was hand-crafted in an amazing, cinematic experience that would get any gamer pumped up to play. Brawl's is a choppy, badly-edited mash-up of a bunch of cutscenes from the story mode. Meh.

Pit is actually pretty good. It's his UP-B that is a little flawed.

Personally I simply love this game but there were some minor things that I wish were in this game as they were in the previous games.

1) They need the old handicaps system not just percentage. (It was in the first game and the second)

2) I know this is minor but I loved how the characters made a sound when they are hit hard.

3) They should've just revamped roy instead of removing him.
