@stuntman7545 - We used tracking points for the rough movement and then went in and rotoscoped a lot of frames to fine tune the whole thing. This was a complete experiment in doing this for us and our first time doing something like this, so we think it turned out well, even though there's still some visible edge crawl in the overall composite. Good, has potential but if i was looking to make something out of it i would do something more than a 1 min intro, get some action in there, a short movie that has dialog special effects. I dont think bethesda will give you anything at this point, I havent even seeen your face! Keep it up though.

I'd also like to propose a different approach to your idea: why a film and not a tv series? It could be way better, and i could help you with the script.
Our idea is that the short film is the pilot for an ongoing web show.
Ultimately, it's Bethesda Softworks that decides if we produce more past the first one. It would require money to produce, so we would love to partner with Bethesda and make more for Fallout fans. The more views we get and the more successful it is, the easier it is to convince Bethesda.
So please do us a favor and help! Get it out there and tell Bethesda that you'd like to see more!
oh and by the way i think the vault-dude's place in the trailer was waaay to neat & clean. should mess it up a lot more. i'd be glad to help wreck some walls ;p
This shows how much of a nerd we are about this, but the Pip-Boys were distributed to all Vault-Tec Vaults. The Pip-Boy 2000's were mostly handheld, but the 3000's were all on the wrist. Fallout had the folks from Vault 13 with them, Fallout 2 had The Chosen One with a handheld, and then there were a few different models of the 3000 in Fallout 3. We did our homework as much as we could. :)
Oh cool - We're not taking voice actors at the moment though. But keep checking back to my channel. I normally use the recent activity box to recruit voice actors :)
I for one applaud the effort - I do however have some points - if you are serious about it:
1. to have that many locations on the pip boy, he would be well up in level, hence, would probably not still be wearing his jump suit (I wouldnt anyway), also, if I were wearing the jumpsuit - it would be very dirty and or bloody by now
2. also on the locations - to have that many in the pip boy, he would have met a hell of alot of creatures/ppl/slavers/brotherhood/outcasts etc etc on the way - yet I saw no injuries on him at all.
3 - tell us about this guy - what level is he, what perks does he have? - does he have a follower yet ?
Really interesting points Fabian, and definitely something that we'll keep in mind for the short film. We have an idea for the backstory of the Vault 103 character and Vault 103 itself that I'm going to keep under wraps until we're sure that we won't be making anymore past the short film. I would hate to spoil the surprise if we do have the opportunity to keep telling the story. Thanks for watching!

Well, it looks sort of like the number is made of tape, maybe if you spent some time sewing together something, and then get it dirty, make it look stained, make it look warn in.
Thanks for the compliments! We only had a crew of three plus the actor to shoot this, so we didn't have much in the way of manpower to really dress the set proper Wasteland style. We'll definitely keep this in mind when we shoot the short film. Hope you keep watching!
