  • @cincyblows you're so funny! I can roll my hair vertically with ease because the curlers I use just grab the hair, they're velcro, so no pins, clips, nothing. Also, just take smaller sections so there is not so much hair for each curler to deal with. Let me know if that helps!

  • A Little Tip : While Roding Hair To The Side DO NOT UNROLL THE CURL . Instead You Pull Down That Way The Curl Will Have A Little Bounce Instead Of The Flatness . By Unrolling It You Will Knock The Curl Out And They Will Not Hold. -Great Idea

  • @MackBreeh nice, thanks for that!

  • I will never be able to do this :(

  • @AGoodBaldheadedMan Um, given your name, I can see why you'd say that. However, you can do it on others. I have many male viewers who LOVE giving a proper rollerset to the lucky women in their lives.

  • I was wondering if you know how to roll with "electronic " rollers ?

My grand mother passed this gift to my mom , which are rollers in a box and they can be plugged in to turn warm and then be used

But no matter how we tried we didn't succeed

I hope you can help :D

  • @piano4soul oh you're so lucky! I've been looking in thrift stores for such rollers! My sister swears by them. They should have a set of clips that go with them. Try experimenting and be patient. Try different size sections, different angles that you start, try different positions, like horizontal vs. vertical for results you like best. PLEASE make a video and send it to me and/or take pictures. The learning is in the practice, so DON'T give up. Also, what condition your hair is in changes.

  • i think it looked lovely

  • @320samee thank you! Have YOU tried curling your hair like this?

  • @MakeoverSessions i work a lot! and never gave much thought to my hair till recently! i am definitely gonna get some rollers and put some curl in my life :}

  • oneyNG brought me here

  • @MrVagineer Welcome!

  • I got it right away, I thought at first as well there was hardly any curl, but then I saw the type of rollers as they were coming out, what the purpose/ goal was. Congratulations Diane on your personal endeavor. I love how fun you are here, an cute about it! Much love to you! <3

  • wow you are so beautiful ! i love it.

  • LOOKS LIKE IT DIDNT WORK GURL! your wasnt even... CURLED i thought that was the whole purpose???? smh

  • @harajukukid126 Thanks for your feedback. If you have seen my other hair rolling videos, you'd know that velcro rollers of the medium size give body and take out the frizz, they don't curl necessarily.

  • i hope to look half as gorgeous as you when i grow older.

  • с бигудяшками она выглядела лучше, намного лучше):

  • ok, how do they stay in?! i have like 12, and i know how to roll hair around them, but how do they stay in, like locked in?

  • @spiderlegs1987 12 is not enough to stack neatly and tightly. I have 8 usually just in the center. It works best if you have thin sections--thin enough that the little teeth grab the other side of the curler, and VOILA! They stay in. I practiced so much to get proficient. Keep on trying, you'll get it. Let me know!

  • that it so cool your old and you still got style lol no rudeness intended

  • @goosebumpsgirlgirly4 None taken, haha, thanks. Time is no respecter of persons, you will be my age one day too.

  • you are a very pretty lady

  • @infamousamor thank you.

  • im addicted to your rollers videos...haha. i myself LOVE putting rollers in my whole head. im exactly like you - loving the excitement of not knowing what type of pretty waves/curls i'm gonna get when i take it out! there's a certain excitement to taking the rollers out isnt there :D

anyways, just wanted to tell you that you are GORGEOUS!!! you look like sarah from true blood...the pastor's wife. so pretty! :)

  • you look like a human barbie doll! seriosly

  • your hair is so classy and elegant looking!

  • You're pretty!

  • you should do a video on how you put in the curlers..

  • you're stunning. (:

  • Just saw the video and i have a question :). My hair is naturally curly and i recently tried hair curlers. it looked nice and tamed like a head and shoulders add after i pulled them out :D, but 1 hour later it was falling apart and going back to its curl mode. I applied them on wet hair. should i use hair spray or any kind of product?

  • Hmm, my hair is wavy, but not curly naturally, so you'll have to experiment. I think a soft glaze like Paul Mitchell's styling glaze is better than using nothing and if you want to spray, wait until AFTER you've unrolled them. They can get stuck if you spray before and that's no fun believe me. Keep on trying and let me know what works best for your type of hair.

  • How long did you use these rollers. I don't see curls result. Is that because rollers are too big. I want ringlets with rollers. Can you make a video with traditional plastic rollers to get ringlets curls. Thank you. NOTE: You are very pretty lady.

  • Thanks for your inquiry, and your observation. These medium size velcro rollers are NOT for ringlets curls, they are for de-frizzing and for voluminous body only. If you want ringlet curls, you need to use much much smaller curlers and roll them vertically. My hair is too long to use without them getting stuck seriously. For ringlet curls, I have to use a curling iron and tiny sections, which takes about two hours and hair spray before and after I roll them.

  • wow its soft wavy curls..giving u the romantic look. niways u r a gorgeous lady. :)

  • our hair must be wet when we use those curly pin? or nott? :D

  • I start the velcro rolling with dry hair and once rolled, I use a mist of water. Rolling with wet hair is called a wet set, but will tangle if tried with velcro rollers.

  • it doesnt look that curly

    it just lookes poofy

  • That's right, with this size roller, you get rid of frizz and lots of body. If you want curl, use a smaller roller or use a curling iron. Thanks for the feedback.

  • Nice Turn out :) loved the video :D

  • I'm so glad! Thanks for the feedback.

  • you should go pro!! haha really you're gorgeous and very charismatic.

  • Why, thank you, I'm working on it! Bless you.

  • lol You're funny and gorgeous.

  • Wow, that sounds like a winning combination! Thanks.

  • how long do you have to leave them in and do u have to put hairspray on them ? x

  • The more you want the curls to last, the longer you leave them in, the smaller sections you take, less thick I mean, and the more setting lotion or hairspray you use. Great Q!

  • Thanks you for your help :) x

  • Wow, beautiful. By the way, how did you lose all that weight? Please reply. Thanks!

  • Thank you! As for how I lost so much weight, it wasn't just ONE thing I did, it was lots of little decisions, mainly a lifestyle change. Check out my body makeover series, too. Eat less, move more is the cliff's notes version, haha.

  • wow you look like a barbie.. I bought 12 of those hair rollers today and i have no idea how to use them lol.. Does it last long or it fades away after a certain time?

  • Watch some of my tutorials, I have learned on camera, you can do it. I don't think 12 is enough, because they work better with smaller sections. I usually use 8 just down the center. How long the curl lasts depends on what kind of products you use first. A styling setter will help it last. Either way, it gives body and eliminates the frizz.

  • Ok thank you .. I just love the look so much :P

  • I love your teeth they are to white and perfect.

  • OH thanks! My crimson lipstick makes them pop out even more. I've worked a lot on my teeth so thank you for noticing and letting me know you appreciate them. I have some teeth makeover videos if you're interested.....

  • next time you should try using a setting lotion or a spray gel on each section before rolling. hairspray works, but gel produces better curls!:)

  • Thanks for that, xxmathcore, I have since gotten some setting lotion. One of my wonderful subscribers actually sent me a couple of different kinds. I don't know if I used it properly when I did use it, but my hair was totally crispy, I really prefer softer hair, more touchable. I suppose everything has a price...

  • pretty!

  • You hair turned out really great :] I loved it! Ya know you remind me of my grandmother. Now, i'm not say you are old at all, you just have a really nice attitude and really bubbly. It makes your videos worth watching :]

  • no effence or anything but it didnt really turn out. But i love how you did you'r makeup and great videos!

  • Isn't that fun? I never know how it's going to turn out.....it's a little more spirally than the other way. Thank you!

  • Thanks!! your pretty cool. swama!

  • Dianne, Oh Wow! Congrats on Your wieght loss. Not that it matters except from a health standpoint. Do You use a curl enhancement product? Mouse, Gel, or Spray?Your Friend, Truly

  • Hi Truly, thank you! I use a hair spray, but someone suggested I should use a root lifter. I'm still a noob, haha. Do you know the song from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Truly Scrumptious? I think you will love it.

  • Congrats on the weight loss and your hair looks great. Quick question though, vertically actually means up and down while horizontally means across or left to right, did you mean that you rolled them horizontally? Easy way to remember is that the word horizon is in horizontal, and looking at the horizon, it's flat or left to right.

  • Thank you for that. You can see the side rollers are rolled vertically instead of horizontally, for more of a spiral effect. The center mohawk part is still rolled horizontally.

  • OOOHH, i get it. thank you for clearing that up. wow, now that makes sense. your hair still looks great.

  • WOW. What a nice rollers set

  • congrats on the weight loss!!! i'm doing weight watchers for a long while, but never weighed myself when i was at my heaviest.. i was too mad at myself! i'm only down about 40 probably but i have a long ways to go! so i know how hard it is to even lose 5 lbs sometimes! so your accomplishment is awesome!!!! way to go! p.s. i like the curlers better vertical like this even moreso than horizontal. gives your hair a little more bend/curl to it at the end. anyways, hope ur speech went well!

  • I just love the way you set you hair.....

I dye to see you wearing JUMBO velcro rollers....

    REGARDS FROM BRAZZZZZIL....

  • I am stunned that you lost 100 lbs!! I cannot imagine you as anything but bone thin. Congratulations and Bravo to you. That is inspirational...maybe you should talk about that in a video.
