  • People constantly speak of 'the government' doing this or that, as they might speak of God doing it. But the government is really nothing but a group of men, and usually they are very inferior men. They may have some better man working for them, but they themselves are seldom worthy of any respect

  • @onstageagain I don't understand this comment. the biggest problem here was the manuvering that was done by the Republicans to squeeze Clark out of the debate. Clark was the Independent and really the only "voice of the people" - but he was not allowed in the debates thanks to Hurt (GOP) and the Tea Party idiots.

  • @gov360dotorg I somewhat agree, however I have miles of facts to prove my opinion" There ain't no ticks like poly-ticks. Bloodsuckers all. Professional politicians R skilled at taking credit for successes of others & blaming others for mistakes of their own. Exactly the kind of phony braggart slime U caution U'r daughter against dating. Something went wrong for him to cause this to happen, When looking for the reason never rule out sheer stupidity.

  • hehe, im a school student from denmark, i dont really know anything about american politics or politicians, but i got this task at school that i should write a political debate, and this really, really helped me since i've never seen a political debate in television ;) so thanks a lot for uploading :)

  • good video but the sound quality is pretty sketchy

  • @meanpumkin4 I uploaded it directly from the TV channel's web site - so I appologize - but it was not caused by my software..

do you live in the district?

  • I'm looking forward to reviewing the videos of Jeff Clark that i didn't have time to watch before. Mr Perriello keeps talking about students not being straddled with "student loan debt" Does he mean that the government will pick up the tab. i think (and hope) that the American people are finally seeing through all these "wonderful ideas" that are really just reasons for more government spending.

  • @KCCLARK103 I will be GLAD to help find some Clark debate footage - I watched a bunch of Clarks first debate with Perriello (Hurt refused to attend) - it was posted on Perriello's web site - check there.

I really enjoyed seeing Clark debate - he is much more calm and diplomatic than what we see here from Hurt - and you never see Tom get heated up with Clark - they are BOTH honest and sincere and down to earth. The whole atmosphere is much more intelligent and less childlike. Go figure?

  • perriello>hurt. hurt doesn't understand the importance of federal aid for schooling beyond high school. hurt thinks illegal immigration caused 9/11. perriello failed to point out that amcham money frees up funds for repubs, seiu and liberals are not hiding their contributions. hurt's postion on tort reform is stronger though. hurt's nebulous "air of uncertainty" argument means" we republicans guarantee unfettered capitalism at any cost for the nation, the dems may look out for the people."

  • Typical deceiving republican. Demonize gov't. That's all they know how to do. Anyone who is against gov't has no business running for any gov't office.

  • @73849309378 I agree, I'm a pretty sound Republican, but even I'd have to vote for Perriello on this one. Hurt sounds like he's been taking lessons from Glenn Beck - typical cliche & overused phrases to avoid answering the real questions at hand.

  • @hpprinter12345 What is the story with the guy in your district from your video? Is he running - who is running agianst him? Any debates?

  • Bad format. They don't get a rebuttal time after the lies are told about them.

Stop growing government, over regulating businesses, and taxing them so much and then a lot of the outsourcing will stop. But we also need China to value its currency properly or we need to slap tariffs on their products. It will hurt our economy even further in the beginning, but in the long run it is what is needed.

  • @jbranstetter04 You seem pretty informed - have you ever considered running for Central commitee with a party or running for neighborhood council or state office or US representative? Who is your US House rep? Tom?

  • @gov360dotorg My rep, they call him Doc, and he gets reelected every two years with 70 to 75 percent of the vote. I would consider running for a political office, but not for another 5 to 10 years, after I get more business and life experience. I'm not college educated, but I am educated. Not that it matters, but there are always those who will look down on people who are not formally educated.

  • @jbranstetter04

i agree especially with the first 2 sentences

  • @meanpumkin4 First 2 sentences by whom?

  • I'm voting for Tom Perriello!
