If we think about it, Flay never admitted to love Kira. It was Sai who said it, but she kept denying it until they found Mirialia trying to kill Dearka. After that was over they never finished the conversation.

When I first watched Seed in its first broadcast on toonami, I remember hating Flay more than anything. And, in a way, I still dislike her. She was weak; there is no getting around that. However, she represents that little bit of weakness, and humanity in all of us. I hate her manipulation of Kira, but I understand it now. There is no denying that she was the most tragic character in the series.

I've never seen such a good character like Flay in a show. She was so important in Gundam SEED, her character, her story, her relationship with the heroe. Flay was so interesting, even if she was crazy. That's why Gundam SEED is awesome, there is so many good characters.

Despite what people are saying, Flay was a really likable character for me. Her actions were a result of insecurity and confusion which is understandable seeing shes like only what ? 15 ? Flay is a tragic case. She is deserving of our sympathies and hatred all at once. I respect the creators of Gundam for making a character like her. It's for certain that Kira would not have become the person he did were it not for her misguided influences. I truely pity her character.

Don't be suprised that people like Flay. She's one of the most memorable characters to me. I actually love what she went through, how clever she was, how human she was. She came across as a flawed, confused, manipulative and spiteful person, but that was also a result of her personal losses and tragic experiences. In reality she was a kind person that acted out completely based on her emotions. It made her human, which is hard t osay for some of hte other chars in the show, including fucking Kira.
She was in bed laughing after she and Kira slept together, and the time she was in bed ahd he was putting a cloth on her head, I think that was when they were at sea and she wasn't feeling well.

Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny were some of the best anime ever. They compete with Death Note easily. Just because they are not as famous as Naruto doesn't mean they weren't just as good, even if my friends don't know them.

I think your slideshow was very good! I think the song is perfect for Flay. I wasn't very "fond" of her, i guess you could say, but it did make me feel a little sad in the end when she died after realizing that she really did love Kira. Well anyway five stars!

Don't be suprised that people like Flay. She's one of the most memorable characters to me. I actually love what she went through, how clever she was, how human she was. I'm sick of perfect girls or clumsy girls in anime. She was a bad person through a lot of the series, but not a bad character. I just didn't see her change and think "Okay, now she's a bitch I hate forever!". I thought "Aw, poor Flay's in so much pain.". I'd never get over seeing my father murdered.

FLay was a bitch and she manipulated kira yes its ture but at the end it became true love and i kinda wanted to see how that would unfold with laccus and flay in kiras head. kira is my boy and even though he was bein punked by her he still loved her and in the end she loved him i dont really think she was that bad because at the end all she wanted was to talk to kira one more time.. and she could have turned on him when she was with zaft but she didn't she's not that bad

Then why does he think of Fllay when he sees Lacus? I'm pretty sure he saw their relationship as more then physical even if he was manipulated. Ever heard of unrequited love? But in the end she does realize she loves him, doesn't she? Lacus is actually the one who he feels like he needs to protect if you really think about it.

Wow Im surprised that someone actually liked Flay.She is right up there in the top 3 of my most hated chars.
Shouldnt have died though.
Not that I wanted her to take anymore part in the plot but rather that seeing her taking the role of Four and Puru in Seed really REALLY pissed me off.

I guess she does somewhat appeal to the melodramatic folks but really for me she didnt die soon enough.
Every Gundam series has its dead characters,thats tradition but putting that abomination of a char on the same place as Puru and Four just made me angry.

@StevenX55 actually Flay was one of the few decent characters to come out of Seed and Destiny combined. She came across as a flawed, confused, manipulative and spiteful person, but that was also a result of her personal losses and tragic experiences. In reality she was a kind person that acted out completely based on her emotions. It made her human, which is hard t osay for some of hte other chars in the show, including fucking Kira.

She went through a lot and in the end she realized that she was wrong and she loved him. She did love Kira when she saw him again before she died. She was going to apologize and tell him that. I wish she hadn't died. She was such a great character, she went threw so many changes. She was insane from her father's death when she said that fight and die.

Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny were some of the best anime ever. They compete with Death Note easily. Just because they are not as famous as Naruto doesn't mean they weren't just as good, even if my friends don't know them.
As for Flay she was manipulated into doing what she did. She could never hav been half the woman Lacus was in every way. She did act like a bitch sometimes.The others make her seem like a fan girl who got lucky. Compared to that she's nothing. No offence to her fans.

I think your slideshow was very good! I think the song is perfect for Flay. I wasn't very "fond" of her, i guess you could say, but it did make me feel a little sad in the end when she died after realizing that she really did love Kira. Well anyway five stars!

I have to be honest. The slide show was ok, so was the choice of song but I liked the character yu chose. Flay defintely should have been one of the protagonist characters in SEED. She learnt her lesson in the end anyway. The story would have gotten so much more complicated if she stayed
