tenants can fuck up the apartment as much as they want, not pay rent, and you still have to go beg the judge for an eviction, and if its the winter months, forget about it, u have no chance of getting an eviction, lanlords defenitly need more rights especially in Chicago

check out Marion Village in Levittown, PA or Bristol PA-the maint.guys stole all the copper pipes frm laundry room and was closed for while, bedbug issues, shootings,drugs/ @ Harbour Lights in /Bristol Boro-I lived w/ caved in bthrm ceiling and into linen closet-water dam,age frm, leak pipes, pipes always broke on floor so flooding and major major BLACK MOLD.PPL ARE STUCK BC OF $ ISSUES-I loved my apt but was flooded out 3times bad-landlord would not reimburse me. DISGUSTED AND DISPLACED NOW

important to me and now my owners understand and see my ways with new eyes and new perspective. Many owners are like this but they just make that way a habit and loose the vision of what they once had and replaced that with problems, court cases lawsuits so cleaning up what was done and gaining the trust of my residents and bringing my owners on board with my structured ways. 7 years later still leading by example, and sticking to it and most importantly having my residents know i am reliable

that is not how I want my owner to be presented, and certainly my right hand people my staff were trained to be wise problem solvers with good intentions with putting the tenants first. We are in charge of the tenants homes, that they pay for monthly. I forsure show my graditude and appreication to them every month by having a bbq, updating an amenity or gifting them with a new amenity, honor them by presenting one with resident of the month and another with early bird gift. just proves to me that landlords and owners need to remeber where to draw the line. After all you just nested in a dwelling that you paid for monthly, which in time invested money back to the property and to the owners. There was no customer service presented here and no respect for you as a renter. of your vacating the unit should not be handled in the manner. When you moved in your walk thru came with a move in sheet, Me, myself for the protection of my residents and my owners I would take pictures of the responses my new tenants wrote down. With that keep those pictures with the move in statement and do the same practice when they move out. Copies of pictures and all signed paperwork were also given to my tenants when moved in. All this normal wear and tear that she is scolding you about

Being a property manager myself for the past 10 years, I am still flabbergasted by the landlords/owners who forget that the tenant who is vacating invested money to their asset. The lack of appreciation and gratitude, instead you get singled out by and flawed because of a characteristic that you smoke. Then insults you with a statement that her husband would deny you based on that characteristic. In my eyes its wrong but the law is still unclear how this is handled. Lastly this process

I also rented a carpet cleaner and steam cleaned the carpet myself but the carpet was old. The carpet was at least 30 years old and th landlord said that the carpet was no good anymore and that it had to be replaced. It should have been replaced 20 years ago!
