Hola de nuevo... decirte que no hay un violinista que toque más flamenco y más gitano que Bernardo Parrilla. Te puedo decir violinistas que hayan colaborado en trabajos flamencos y que la mayoría no son españoles.

Alexis Lefevre, Olvido Lanza, Faiçal Kourrich, Julio Muñoz, Ara Malikian. Espero que haya sido de ayuda... saludos

Como me gusta poner las cosas en su sitio, Esto no es cultura latina, ni siquiera cultura española, es cultura solamente de andalucia, repartida por españa cuando los cantaores se tuvieron que ir a madrid a ganarse la vida cantando. Pero los del resto de andalucia ni entienden ni huelen ni diferencian palos de flamenco ni nada, solo escuchan unas palmas y para sentirse español dicen "ole ole" y dan 4 palmas a descompas....

String instruments go with flamenco very well. Personally I am not so crazy about some instruments like the flute. Check out Joaquin Cortes' farruca from the Saura movei, "Flamenco"

Joaquin Cortes sucks. He totally screwed the dance of flamenco by doing what he does. He should dance more and stop walking so much around the stage. Farruco and Farruqito are better dancers than Joaquin by far. Creo que Joaquin Cortes es mas que un bailarin de ballet que de flamenco. Los Farrucos si que bailan flamenco. Por lo menos es lo que me gusta a mi.

Saw your post but there is no better than Farruco and Farruquito. I still believe cortes does no good to flamenco. He was just discovered by someone famous and made him famous but being famous does not mean he is good at it.

He was discovered because Armani used him as a marketing tool. They dressed him up in their clothes for his performances. I actually find his "peformances" vulgar and offensive.

Los Farrucos. It depends on what you are talking about. Flamenco puro, yes. Flamenco is ever evolving like any art form. When it comes to pushing the boundaries, the Farrucos don't do that. Others do much more. Both are good. Cortes? He lacks something that one is born with: Good taste.
