  • Might be an predictive/autodialer problem. See Telephone Consumer Protection Act and file a complaint with your state's atty general as well as FCC and FTC. Fine print, if you have an existing business relationship (EBR) send a cease and desist notice to company by certified mail after you've called to tell them to cease telephone contact. If they're calling a cell where you're paying for the airtime from their incoming calls there's also additional protection.

  • Did you forget to pay or did you take a vacation knowing that you did not make a payment.

  • Pay your bill idiot

  • pay your bill dumbass. you stole money from the bank and now you want to get mad at them for not paying? please idiot..of course you are going to get a million collection calls.. let someone owe you money, i wonder how often you would call if you never got contact. dont take a vacation you cant afford idiot.

  • @lovetofly1018 you sound like a typical dumbass prison inmate collection agent.

  • Chew with your fucking mouth closed!

  • it's not a person hanging up it's the computer dialer system. the problem with banks and companies that use dialer systems is they try to connect calls. but when they connect too many at once they drop some.

p.s. you owe them a call not visa versa/ you are an idiot for not calling them and paying.

  • @jamesbjorlie Actually they owe us (America) taxpayers because my tax dollars were used to bail them out. I'm paying for them to stay in business when I have never recieved a dime from JP Morgan, nor have I ever done buisness with them:)

  • @jamesbjorlie it seems clear to me that the Brian McKeon terminated this call, not Chase. Though a collections agent surely has the authority to hang up on aggressive, abusive callers like him.

He's simply trying to be a bully, and get out of his obligation.

  • Goes on vacation but can't pay the bill? Obviously a collection agency is legally entitled to re-attempt contact multiples times through out a date if no one answers the phone. Do you really think the company pays people to call and hang up on you? Instead of you calling them back to resolve the problem you decide to make a video on youtube about your whining pay your bill and get it over with.

  • if you have money to go on vacation why not just pay your bill?

  • A good portion of debtors are just losers. Some people actually address the problem and make payment arrangements. Others are just people who ran up a cc, now claims unemployed and can't repay! If the money was out of your pocket would u want to hear that? Prob not. Be responsible and make arrangements to repay, even 25$ per month helps. Don't be a loser.

  • Most debtors complain about tactics used, but NEVER wand to address the debt they owe. When u needed it, money was given to u. Now it's time to pay back. Hiding behind the phone is NOT the way to handle it.

  • He's in collections b/c he goes on vaca instead of paying his bills!! Most companys use Automated Dialer machines to make calls anyway.... That's why no one is there. This guys makes a journal of when they call, but what he didnt mention is he's never called them back to rectify whatever it is they are calling about. DOH! If you are behind on your bills, and/ or are in collections, then you deserve to be called everyday.

  • LOOK...the only real answer is VIOLENCE. Find the individuals that make the calls and fucking HURT THEM. Change their lives forever. Ensure that when they leave intensive care, that they will re-think every single word they use to speak to somebody..."Will this phone I make, get me beaten to near death? Will this call I make get my girlfriend/wife/mother/daughter beaten?"

  • I get calls for my mom and son whom haven't lived here or haven't lived here in ten years. I have told anyone who actually "talks" that they don't live here. Now all I get is hang ups. I get probably at least twenty a week at all times of the day and evening. This has been going on for months. I have traced the calls to debt collectors, visa, discovery. JpMorgan isn't the only ones doing this. When ever I do actually talk to someone, they say they will take them off the list but continue.

  • I pray that some day Jamie Dimon goes to india to visit one of their cheap collection centers and gets GANG RAPED by a herd of elephants!! Dont support banks that farm jobs out of the country go to your local credit unions!!!!

  • He is telling the truth, Chase calls me from 800-848-9380, at my office 4 times a day (every 2 hours) during business hours. I always pick up the phone, and there is never anyone there. Only reason i know that # is from Chase is that I did a reverse# look up. I then call back, enter my account #, and wait to be connected with someone... then Chase hangs up opn me, LoL. They do not *want* to be paid...

  • @jayko23 what business is it of yours what he does with his money. Chase is harassing people with these types of phone calls.

  • You are a Chase Employee

  • Answer your phone. Your voicemail probably kicked in after 30 seconds. It seems to me your the one not trying to resolve the issue.

  • @peoplearefake84 Wrong! they hang up on you. They do it to me and I answer my "business" phone, which btw, they are not supposed to call but they still do.
