Just ignore them. Isn't that part of the joy of having synths, to have fun with you friends and family? I only own one (kawai SX240) and encouraged my cousin to try it. Although he can't play, he enjoyed trying some sounds and when he had a go at the pitch bend he started smiling. He's been ill with ME over a year and this is one of the few times I've seen him look happy. I wondered if synths could be used in Occupational Therapy when I saw this.
