  • hi!

can you make (program) your own arpeggio presets on X-Station? If yes, then please explain how can I do this? Thanks ;)

  • green and purple lights

  • excellent!

  • thanks!

  • This is really nice! I'v thinking of buying this Roland MC-808. What you think is it worth buying for? I'm making hiphop and R'n'B.

  • yes, I think it could be a good choice for these kinds of music, but don't you think about one of the Akai MPC's - 500, 1000? I've heard (it's not my opinion) they are the best machines for hip-hop and R'n'B.

  • Well yeah I'v heard the same, but everybody are using those sounds already so it's better to do something different. Maybe I go and listen what kind of sounds roland have to offer.

  • absolutely do something different! Do what you want, not what everybody else is doing.

  • Hope you bought the 808. It is perfect for hip hop & RnB.

  • Peaceful and very nice!!!

    Whats your album link. :-)

  • thank you, but I don't have an album yet:)

  • Sounds so nice. Very peaceful.

  • Cool, I have a Motif XS6 and I'm i need of a MIDI controller... and I'm gonna buy the X-station :D. Its great cos you also get a synth in the X-station, not only a controller.

  • you are a great musician - very nice

  • ;) thanks!

  • VERY nice./...keep it up.

  • thank you!

  • you're very good.thanks for this post.

  • and me thanks for your comment!

  • thank you very much! you just make me decide! good luck and i wish you divine inspiration!

  • thanks and same for you, man!

  • in this video, the x-station, are you using it as a midi controler? i want to buy one and i really can figure out from the description that i found it, if it also is a syntesizer (and i can use it without pc) or is a midi controler. thx for any comments!

    BTW, very nice song!

  • of course yes, you can use it as a stand alone synthesizer with 200 presets onboard.

  • Lovely - the Motif pad is lush!

  • 5 :)

  • dzieki!

  • i love it thnx for making it 5*

  • thanks man!

  • Even though the drums seems to be a bit too loud and too sharp in relation to the synths it sounds great and makes me goosebumps! Especially the low freqency pad of the Motif - The whole house is vibrating!

At 0:44 - 2:14 there are some distortions at the solo voice in the mp3, but the video seems to be ok.

Great work - Simple but very impressive.

In which key are you playing this?

  • I'm gonna to record it once again, and using sequencer. I will remember your opinion, thank you very much. I was listening 2 times mp3 file, but I did't hear any unexpected distortions except my mistake at 4:03 in solo voice.

BTW - the key is Cmin.

    Thank you once again!

  • Now you mentioned it i noticed it too :) But that's live playing! I like not only to see a computer reproducing some bits but to see (and hear of course) a musician play his instrument. So what about a tiny mistake. If i could play as good as this... And the live videos hepls to get the chords and the melody while tryiung to play the tune.

The distortions sounds like some clipping, maybe a bit too much gain or a interference between the mp3-encoder and the noise component of the lead sound.

  • very soothing & calming. enjoyed it very much.. thank u for sharing

  • thanks!

  • 5* again!

  • thanks!
