  • this is real power metal because it's powerful and patriotic unlike dragonforce who only talks about whatever it is that they claim to be "so far away"

  • He remembered the words this time! =D

Great performance, much better than Graspop.

  • pw re gamoto dn to vlepw na ksanarxode fetossssssssssssssssssss GIATIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII?????????

  • Hey is it confirmed that they're rerecording TGB and Framing Armageddon with MAtt?

  • that will be awsome

  • sto 2:04 anatrixiasa!!

    A RE MATT 8EE..

  • God these guys deserve bigger stages, bigger amps, bigger amounts of people to bathe in Iced Earth's absolute awesomeness

  • Welcome back, Matt!

  • i like tim owens but this is proof that Matts a better singer

  • I disagree. I think both singers are great, but I think Matt sounds as uncomfortable trying to hit the high notess ripper does trying to hit the low notes. I think different should be the word used instead of better.

  • yes....the fact is that tim always uses falsetto, and this make his way to sing seems easier than mattew's one, but just because barlow sings in head voice, that is harder, and produces a wicker (but higher) sound...but talking about the range they're similar...that's all

  • @orienslegnus You are completely off on this. Ripper uses more full head voice notes with his highs, where Matt uses completely thin falsetto with his highest highs.

  • @MultipleScrotum

    ¬¬ mmh...well...it could be :)

the fact is that tim has a strange way to sing, it doesn't help

  • @orienslegnus These days, Tim has the strongest highs on the scene. Amazing stuff.

  • no i'd use better. cuz i can stand to hear barlows versions of ripper sang tunes, not vice versa ripper doin barlow songs makes me cringe. barlow can pull it off, not as good of course as ripper could do his own songs, but barlow can pull it off and make it sound pretty good. but seriously when i heard ripper try the trilogy... god that was terrible.

  • damn it that kicked so much ass

  • ti kaulero shmeio oi korwnes pros to telos. hmoun ekei sto kagkelo kai akougotan akoma kalyteros o barlow

  • Holy shit , Matt nailed the high pitch shit .. An amazing performance from IE.

  • I can't stop watching this! He executes the vocal patterns better then Ripper! Especially when it comes to being consistent on the high pitch areas in LIVE shows! Ripper doesn't do as much as Barlow did when he sings this song! Listen to the Chorus! Ripper sings the first line of the chorus a step down from the original note and doesnt do any high pitch vocals at the end of the song but Matt does all of that! Amazing voice and stage presence!

  • The first link in the "related videos" shows Ripper doing the high vocals at the end. And Ripper sounds WAY more comfortable in that register than Matt does.

  • Matt sounds just as good if not better at singing this song LIVE!

  • A.C.A.B.

  • Nice video man. Were you in the front row? Im gonna see them in October its gonna kick ass!!!

  • I think that is that is the best I've seen Matt sing this song , sounds great.

  • Wow,Barlow does things on this song live that Ripper wouldn't even try to attempt...Neither do the high harmony on the last part of the song,though...Bummer.

  • like what?

  • Like sing the song the way it goes instead of holding back. I still prefer Tim's vocals to Matt's...Barlow always reminded me of Paul Stanley if he had a better range:)

  • I can see that :)

  • Re esy paizei na eisoun akrivws dipla mou. Akrivws etsi ton evlepa ton Jon k ton Matt.
