hey i managed to do it on ps2, it appears that you're under the floor but if you jump up enough to still appear underground, but really close to the bottom of the floor, you can see the guy upside-down above the floor

I didn't work for me on GameCube, but when I tried it he fell through the floor instead. And I could jump up as high as I wanted until he was back up to the floor.

It actually sounds like you did it right. Sometimes, if you land in the wrong spot, you'll fall all the way through. If you were able to jump back up to the top to go through the floor, though, you will probably be able to just stop jumping at some point and run below the level. I'm going to temporarily change the description so it says that the trick only works on 360.

Nope, it doesn't work for blaster people because you can't switch characters after getting down there with a Force character. Also, Force characters are the only ones that can actually jump far enough to make this work, sadly.

Sadly, it does. The main thing that your character needs to do is jump over and past the wall in the beginning of the video, and the only characters that can do that are Force characters.
