@menotyou717 Hmm, maybe American influence hit Scandanavia just like most of Europe. Regardng that side note I don't know the sterotypes for Scandanavians but I don't care for stereotypes especially since they're mostly fake and/or an overexaggerated take on something that a group did. I think the proper response to your original comment would be "That would be becase most people in modern times interpret many sounds as sexual or possibly sexual."

@menotyou717 I think it's just that there is a lot more emotion in the voice than in Western Style animation and animated shows. Comparitively Japan has much better voice actors than Europe and the Americas. Regarding this scene, Konata was talking about something that she loves (I forget the actual dialouge, probably her hobby of buying 3 of the same thing) so of course she'd be excited and Kagami gets annoyed at Konata's logic and well being friends she puts emotion into yelling at her.

@menotyou717 Because they can be I think, American cartoons used to be crazy too but in a different way ^^ cartoons like Tom & Jerry, Bugs Bunny and Roadrunner and even shows from the 80's and 90's like Johny Bravo and Invader Zim are full of crazy and absurd moments that are much funnier than the cartoons aired on Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon now :P
