Well if you buy it expecting it to be a barrage of small crackers, it's actually a pretty good item. You can assume that any firecracker that size and is listed as 1.4g explosives, aka "consumer grade" is not going to be a single explosion. M-80's or any other high powered explosive can't legally be sold by firework stores. They are more so black market items. Depending on state laws.
@namereaper you really wanna make a cool firework get about 2 and a half boxes of strike anywhere matches, cut the heads off them just below the colored part, take an ordinary tennis ball and stuff the match heads in tight, duct tape tightly and there ya go. Throw as hard as you can in the air or at a wall but be ready for about 625 match heads exploding everywhere lol its pretty fun but takes forever to make.

It is the fuel (flash powder most likely) And any commercially bought ground device in the U.S.A is not allowed to have over 50 miligrams. And nowhere in any pyrotechnic handbook does the number truly determine the explosive force...it just gives it a catchy name
