Many people who have studied the Bible have reason to believe 9/11 was the beginning of the apocalypse. Think about it, between the war in Vietnam and 9/11, a generation went by with few major disasters... maybe the Gulf war? that's about it. Now in less than 7 years we've had 9/11, the war in Afghanistan, the war in Iraq, terrorist attacks in Spain and Britain, hurricane Katrina, the Asian Tsunami, huge earthquakes in Pakistan, Iran and China. I think they may be on to something.

I was told that there is no deadline given to us that only the lord knows, Now im a christian sorry if i spelled wrong but i do understand that we don`t do what god says for us to do, that we are led to satan`s temptations and wrong-doing. It is quite amazing how the lord works to keep us in his holding, that only through his grace can he save us, only through his love can we come back home too the lord`s kingdom. the bible can interpret itself. e.g. in matt 24 talks about the parable of the fig tree and this fig tree is israel or the jews because in jeremiah 24:5 it says Thus says the LORD God of Israel, 'Like these good figs, so I will regard as good the captives of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans
the parable of the fig tree says that the fig tree will blossom meaning israel will become new again and that happened 60years ago. israel became a nation again

fg1fg: You should look at the parable in the light of what Paul writes, what it means to be a jew. Not he who is jew on the outside but rather on the inside. Israel is now, not the litteral nation in the middle east, but is rather all those that are grafted into the vein of Abraham, meaning those that have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. The jew today, must accept Christ, the Messiah.

But you are right!! And how do you know this? because it says so in the bible! Read about the council of Neames, how various scriptures and myths were collected, argued over and voted on by a committee. The bible is not gods word, it's a story book.

The Apostles believed that Christ would return in thier lifetime (again, Two thousand years ago.) and that the world would end. Every generation of beleivers seem to think that THEY will be the last and that they will see the end...Sure.

The signs in the time demonstrates that there are events that now are unfolding that indicate that we are more close than before, no matter how it is percieved. Just be dilligent and steadfast, do not sleep, pray and be vigilant. :)

THe Bible has warned us of the things to look out for during the endtimes. Where did U get the Date January 2013 from? In the Bible states Paul states the day of the Lord will be as a thief in the night. Hear him: "For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night" (I Thes. 5:2, 3). Jesus said, "But of that day and hour knoweth no man." Many people who have studied the Bible have reason to believe 9/11 was the beginning of the apocalypse. Think about it, between the war in Vietnam and 9/11, a generation went by with few major disasters... maybe the Gulf war? that's about it. Now in less than 7 years we've had 9/11, the war in Afghanistan, the war in Iraq, terrorist attacks in Spain and Britain, hurricane Katrina, the Asian Tsunami, huge earthquakes in Pakistan, Iran and China. I think they may be on to something.

ParapaDrifter - You're obviously a skeptic when it comes to Biblical prophesy. Occultism is not merely "the study of that which is hidden" as you state. Much of what is the occult accesses dark powers which most would define (maybe not yourself) as evil. You can redefine good and evil so it does not exist in your perception, but evil will still be there, you just won't see it. And there's no way you can argue Jesus was part of the "elite" while here on earth. Read the Bible w/ an open mind.

It's true, evil would have to remain hidden or it wouldn't survive for long. But, the occult can contain good, the current collective conscious is good.. but hidden.
I'd say that Jesus was genuine good, however, people in power have subverted his message and no longer represent Jesus, but a false religion.
When Jesus returned was he the savior of the Jews? hardly. why should we be any different?

You just don't understand the Bible. You ask if Jesus was the Savior of the Jews - YES! It was not a militarly conquest, but through his death and resurection he paved the path for everyone's redemption from sin - both Jews and Gentiles. That is the main point of his mission. Satan did not want Jesus to die (note Jesus' words to Peter on the day of his arrest), as it would open a doorway where souls could be saved. Crushing the Romans (evil) was never the point of his ministry.

Could it be that the 'end' times is simply the end of an "aeon" or age? before Jesus was born it was the age of the ARES the ram... anno domini is the age of PICES the fish... the next age is the age of AQUARIUS.

Yes, many jews expected a military insurrection led by Jesus, and when the found out that was not in the cards, they turned on him. Per the Bible, after Jesus' 2nd coming, there will be a new era of peace for 1000 years, with Jesus in Jerusalem. The manner in which he comes back will preclude any 2nd crucifixion - his power and glory will be quite evident to all. As for the rest you mention, I have not clue - I don't follow astrology.

History was crafted by the Elite... the Roman authorized version of the bible is telling us what the elite has planned for us...
salvation for the elite means everyone who is unneeded will be killed and they will survive.
Armageddon is not the end of humanity, it is the end of the free will of man... the end of his right to exist. And the elites are the ones who will make that decision.

Libertad...there is no hard scriptural evidence of a coming Rapture! The word is not even in the Bible! Be forwarned...the Scriptures do tell us...that anyone who adds or takes away from the word of our God Jehova...will be judged very harshly!
The Scriptures also admonish us to get out of the "unclean thing and run away!" Meaning false religion and false teachings! Jehova will not cut us any slack for following false teachings...we will be held accountable for everything we do!!!

The word rapture is not in the bible (it is a Christian term),but it is called the taking away or caught up.Please read 1Cor. 15:51-52,1Thes.5:2-6,Matthew 24:40-42,Luke 12:36-44 & 17:34-36.These explain that in a twinkling of an eye,at the last trumpet,the dead shall be raised & then we who are alive shall be caught up into the air with them to be with the Lord forever,also that one will be taken & another left.This signifies the rapture or "catching away" of the believers in Jesus

7Christian: Rev 3:10 is a propehcy, directed to certain Christians in a given time period, 1755-1844. We are now in the time period of Ladodicea, and this is something that we all will experience. You should look into the historical way of looking at prophecy and the interpretation of propehcy, this is what the church leaders and the reformators believed. Good that you are critical though :)
