  • But... Will it blend?

  • at least they'll still be able to fight after they get run over.

  • what kind of rail do you got on that nice look'en rifle

  • Why would someone dislike this video?

  • i didn't knew soldiers were allowed to paint their rifles

  • @sniperRobert Yep, we sure are.

  • @sniperRobert

You are a hell of a target with a black rifle. Never knew a military sniper with a black rifle. But yes regular military cannot pain their weapons, as you can see I was not regular Army.

  • nice m4

  • No the body armor would be very ineffective do to the fact I have seen them shot and it had a hole on each side

  • I'm a little amazed at half of the people commenting on here about the PMAG. "It cost way more than GI mags", "You'll be able to fire your sand-filled PMAG a couple times before it blows up in your face", etc. I think that it is safe to assume that most of these guys have never fired an AR or M-4 and probably never will. Your gun will be fine, as will you, if your mag jams due to sand. Nobody's ever died from a failure-to-feed, and a I get my PMAGs new for $12/ea. Definitely not expensive.

  • @RavenZ27 While the failure to feed won't directly injure or kill you, the fact that your weapon isn't shooting when you need it to might be a slight problem if your target is shooting back..

  • @Cosmo1093 Agreed. A Failure To Feed is certainly detrimental in any combat environment, but a GI mag is more likely to fail under this and almost any circumstance, over a Pmag.

If someone was to say that they preferred GI mags because they didn't like the feel of polymer mags, I can accept that, but to try to say that there are legitimate functional shortcomings in Pmags over Alum or Alloy mags, is just making stuff up.

  • @RavenZ27 Well the only functional shortcoming of the PMag that I can think of is that its dimensions don't allow it to just drop free from certain AR receivers...I have that problem with my LWRC and the Marines have that problem with their M27 IAR's (HK416's). Installing Magpul anti-tilt followers in USGI mags is a good way to have cheap but highly functional mags.

  • @Cosmo1093 Yes, Magpul's anti-tilt followers are a great upgrade to GI mags, and many suppliers are selling their GI mags with them already installed. That is something that I would do to any GI mags that I had, along with stainless mag springs.

The Pmag, however, isn't a STANAG mag, which is why the 416, and I would venture your LWRC, don't like them. Magpul's Emag is their STANAG mag that works well with the 416 as well as any non-standard AR variant. Emags are pricey though.

  • For the price of 1 H&K mag you can buy 3 PMAGS. 60.00 vs. 18.00...

  • christ... what does magpul make pmags out of!?!? maybe we should start making body armor outa it!

  • and the russians on the other side of the screen noting down in their notebooks

  • PMAG, Fuck yeah!

  • @richardsimons1234 ah who cares about the name. And the bad grammar was part of the joke

  • How is the Iraqi pussy over there?

  • @MrAppleseed88 Fucking dusty...

  • Humvee: DIE PMAG DIEEE!!!

PMAG: HAHAHAH I LAUGH AT YOUR ATTEMPTS TO HURT ME!!

    HUMVEE: WHY WONT YOU DIE!!

PMAG: THIS IS GETTING TIRING...WAKE ME UP WHEN YOU DONE

HUMVEE: GO TO HELL PMAG!! *runs off angrily*

  • WHY WOULD YOU WASTE A PMAG?!?!?!?!?!?1

  • @videofreakmanic123 dude...its a stress test

  • @richardsimons1234 YOU, SIR, IS A "STRESS TEST"

and btw, richard "simons" is spelled 'simmons'

  • @videofreakmanic123 haha. very funny. and Simons, is spelled s-i-m-o-n-s like the name Simon but with the "s". Not Simmons like that fitness instructor. And btw, its "you ARE a stress test" not "you IS a stress test"

  • hahaha at Pullmag.

  • IRAQI SAND COMES IN FLAVORES :P

  • nice looking weapon what branch are u in

  • nice looking weapon what branch are u in

    @MrTheVidster

was in the US ARMY (Long Range Surveillance Detachment).

  • @FNTZMA11417 525th or 519th if you dont mind me asking

  • Put some super glue on the pmag and it will work again...

  • We live in a country where we have politicians wasting trillions on bailing out companies that should have failed. wasting hundreds of billions per year on social programs for other countries just to keep our foreign bases. Wasting Millions on pet projects with no purpose. Yet people are going to complain when a guy who spends his own money and wastes $70 max on ruining some magazines because his paycheck comes from taxpayers? He worked for it, he can spend it how he wants. Stop being idiots.

  • @FallenAquila especially when your life may depend on your equipment. you need to know what it and yourself can take. Hooahh.

  • Magpul makes really durable and strong magazines.

  • Is there any pre assault weapon ban p mags because I would like one

  • @nycwiseguy91 yes by magpul

  • why is running over magazines even a a test? if your shit is getting run over your in the wrong. throwing them on the floor would be a more realistic test

  • @joeratti It's called a stress test for a reason.

  • I am glad I have seven of these. I got five of them with my M&P 15x and never had a problem.

  • Shows you what's durable and what's not. Dumb ass!!! Hahaha

  • question in life why would you do that to youre mags? run it over!

  • No they said this is the new pmag by pulmag not pullmag :)

  • isn't the point of those piece of shit steel and alum mags is so you can drop them and forget them and not care? magpuls are more expensive and you're probably going to want to pick them back up after they are empty.

  • @benmodo - Basic PMags (the non-window variety) retail for about $15/ea in a brick and morter store or gun show. Thats cheaper than the gov't issue mags by a large margin. Best price I've found locally on the gov't mags is about $20. Most of the time, closer to $30. I'd take a PMag any day of the week and twice on Sunday! Only mags I'll buy for my ARs. Now if Magpul would just come out with a PMag for the Mini-14...

  • did he say "this is the new pmag by pullmag"? lol its magpul!

  • Instead of bitching about your shitty tax dollars, ENVY these motherfuckers that are protecting us!

  • @secretpolice not they are not protecting u guys....they are invading others

  • @fig9ux going to agree with you. but these guys are just caught up in ultra-rich men's private quest for world control.

they should turn their guns on the elitists of the world.

  • nutnfancey should review this.

  • Perhaps it would have been better to run the sand-filled mag through an actual rifle? Not firing, just cycling it... Might've worked a bit more realistically than the speedloader.

  • @GeneralMazaki Thats what I did. The force of hand with a speed loader, is not the same as the buffer force. You can watch my video where I do it. You would think this guy would have thought of that, but idk.

  • Poor pmag!

  • MAGPUL PMAGS ARE THE BEST FOR LESS THAN 20 EACH

  • im subbing u cause your a veteran and I like the vid

  • you cannot use a reloader to test if it will feed in a gun. The bolt behind it has more force than your hand. You needed to run it in a real gun like I did in my video.

  • shouldnt have got the mag levels, they are not as tough as the old pmags. The older pmags are a lot stronger and more reliable.

  • well if you drop your pmag in the sand at least you can shoot it a few times before it blows up in your face!

  • RIP p mag.....what a shame

  • Oh no i dropped my pmag, and now a humvee is going to run it over 4 times in the middle of a battle.... very realistic =)

  • @iloveguns007 you never know, the driver could be mentally retarded

  • @TheCrazyrogue666 hahahahaha wow

  • Damn those mags work wonders. Here in my town they sellin for like 15 dollars a mag of 30. Texas, Austin. I need go buy some.

  • 10 pmag cost like $110 included shipping.

  • All of you, this is a review about combat effectiveness of magazines. If you are a liberal and don't support the troops and war, leave now. Do not post your trash comments here, because we don't want to have to pity that the only reason you are alive is because of this man in the video, and many more men and women who fight and die for you. Youtube is not a place to argue and swear an eachother and act like out of control kids.

  • looks like im getting all new mags. Pmags

  • Thanks to all for your service . Thanks also for the test on your dime with the P-mags. Find fun where you can, and stay safe.. yl

  • well if my humvee runs over all of my gi mags ill get some p mags

  • Damn! that was the best real world test I have seen on not only on Pmags but on USGI and those venerable HK 556 mags. Thank you guys!

  • For the sand test...I'm sure you'd be dead by the time your mag was empty...but then again if you take proper care of the mags while in the pouch then it should be fine.

  • awesome vid, this is what i was looking for. stay safe guys! thanks a lot

  • No not tax money, my pay check!

  • Damn straight that will make him eat his wheaties! Fuckin trolls...

  • @FNTZMA11417 They chunk them on the ground by the dozens on missions - they just used 3 to test. They are only like 10-25 dollars a piece retail, and the government gets them cheaper than that, 300 million Americans, so that just cost you 1-4 hundred millionths of a cent.

  • @FNTZMA11417 use our tax dollars i dont care! your fighting for our country, risking your life for us. the least we could do is give you good mags to make sure your weapon is functioning,

  • So this is where your time is going...saying stupid things on the internet cause your life sucks and you need to make up for it by sounding "funny"..

  • @GXPFiend

STFU I don't see you putting your life on the line for your country.

  • I would but I have a bad disease.

  • How typical.... Another un-informed youtuber talking shit about a war that our brave service members are fighting to keep our country safe. P-Mags arent government issue. If you would have paid attention, in the beginning he said, "were going to do a test on the government issue 5.56 magazine" The GI Mags are issued by the government and they are shit. P-Mags are made by Magpul and they run between $15-18 and this serviceman paid for his out of his own pocket.

  • @topher81807 Man you are an ASSHOLE, my grandfathers have served in Korea and NAM. It was a joke, no where in what I said did I bash or say ANYTHING about he Military. I love our country and I only said that has a joke, but you're uptight ass cannot fucking take a joke I see.

  • Youre right. I cant take a joke about people that put their lives on the line for people like you and me everyday. These guys wake up every morning not knowing if today will be their last day on Earth.... So yeah, I do get offended when anybody jokes about a soldier who I dont know, and who doesnt know me, but is still willing to put their life on the line to keep me safe. Its people like this who inspired me to enlist in the Corps after college this semester....

  • @GXPFiend no you stupid cunt, we buy magpul mags with out own money because the ones our govt issues, SUCKS, like your fucking life!

  • @alexei4323 Ok asshole. I was simply making a joke, but all you hard asses have to go talking shit like people always do over the internet.

  • @GXPFiend Hey, that's called real world testing right there.

  • @GXPFiend

PMAGs aren't bought by the government, they're personally bought items.

  • thats why i love america the pmags runs for around $14 god dam $200 for a standard mag why is australia so strict on there gun laws, the pmag finally met its match it took a beating though

  • What a waste of mags. If you can find any type of 30 rnd AR mags in Australia they are going for between $200 to $300 each. Even though the only gun we can own that takes them is the Rem 7615p.

Considering the Aus $ is worth 0.92US these guys just destroyed what would be around $800US worth in Australia.

  • @shazdee lol, i need to smuggle some pmags into ur country,,., they are worth more than gold!

we can get em for around $30, along with plenty of semi automatic firearms than can use them :)

  • Yeah we could once too. But one nut shot alot of people and you know what politicians do after that. Ban everything on the basis of high emotion. Oh well, at least we're not as worse off as the uk. We can still own handguns and non semi rifles.

  • What country do you live in? Don't let them (your government) take your rights away. Don't give an inch. Just ask the UK. Hell ask the Aussie's (assuming you aren't one). They were forced to turn in I don't know how many legally owned firearms to be destroyed. Truly tragic. Ok. Rant Over.

  • Yep I'm an Aussie. It was virtually impossible not to hand over registered firearms. They knew what you had and where it was kept as part of granting a licence. Hand them over or go to jail for 14 yrs per offence. Not enough people were willing to give up their comfy lives and go to civil war just to keep semi auto guns. My fathers gen however didn't have registration and I know alot of guns are still around. 1million sks rifles imported, 400,000 handed in. The rest are still out there somewhere

  • Alot of Americans tell us Aussies we never should have given a single gun to our government. But why is it they have allowed their own government to regulate full autos?and California? I wish all my support to them to maintain their freedom and maybe even roll back the clock. But I'll bet if their government bans semi autos there will be alot of cacheing going on but no fighting in the streets. People won't trade their comfy lives for guns or else Cali + Jersey would be warzones right now.

  • Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking you guys, hell I love you Aussie's. But, I think the reason there was no bloodshed, is that the language in the ban legislation in CA and NJ states a ban on the sale of firearms, not on the possession. I could be wrong, but i think thats how those bans work. But regardless, we were never made to turn in out guns.

  • And, you can get full auto's in most states, it just takes paperwork, and lot's of it. I'm sorry if I'm a little harsh on the Aussie gun laws, I just don't see the logic of a gun ban in a country where most of the animals can kill you. If you ever decide you want your auto loaders back, all us gun guys down here in Texas would be glad to have you.

  • @shazdee not necessarily, extreme republicans or gun owners might be pissed off enough to rebel along with our government the way it is right now, with a black president, and they could get help from white supremists, KKK, or other racist groups

  • You should never watch mythbusters then.

    (They destroy stuff, like cars)

  • P-mag is superior, thanks for the good torture test.

  • Good to see our soldiers testing the actual equipment in actual conditions. This is what I would be doing if I was over there. They should send this video to the included manufacturers. thanks for the great video!

  • Actually they did! Magpul uses this video as advertising now!

  • The pricing the military gets is inflated compared to what you could purchase on the civilian side, many times. I had to do some ordering of parts a few times when I was in the Corps and was shocked at how much they were charging us. It appeared that the lowest bidder was still outrageously high.

  • I just bought the Ruger SR-556 and it came with three 30rd PMAG's, I'm in love!

  • I wonder if they got in trouble for destroying government property?

  • Doubtful, the US military pays people to conduct these tests all the time, not to mention those STANAG magazines cost somewhere around $45 a piece.

  • What a rip off, I saw a video were an US supply airdrop fell into Taliban hands and when the Taliban went over to take the supply's about 80% of the metal magazines had failed to hold up during the landing. I was thinking even if the US troops have captured the supply drop most of those magazines were worthless.

  • where do you find that info that the stanag mags are $45 each??

Stanag mags are available to the civilian sector for $20 or less for each mag. The equipment issued to military personnel are much less than that since they are made by the lowest bidder.

  • It was a rough guess, but I know shit like that in Canada gets pretty damn expensive, it's hard as hell to find .223 Rem rounds, since the government contracts get priority. I remember talking to a guy at the local gun shop who told me it's almost not worth it to get an AR-15, since the rounds are so expensive and hard to come by.

  • those poor cannucks! lol

  • Those HK mags cost a pretty penny. What do you expect from HK? :\

  • Lol. My favorite line: "Bummer."

  • LMAO when dude said "That's probably enough dude."

  • This is why I love Magpul.

  • You need to try the dirt test in an actual weapon. It might just be that speedloaders aren't really designed for ejecting.

  • "hi were here in Iraq" lol wat an intro

  • Instead of trying to change the m4 series of weapons in the military with a gas piston system, they need to just swap out those magazines and give everyone a pmag.

  • Very true. I've put the M4 to test and it's a great gun. The only problems I have ever had were magazine related and the PMags solve those problems. MagPul makes some amazing shit.

  • yeah i agree

  • H&K do the best guns and magpul do the best accessories!!

  • Comment removed

  • Go magpul!!!

    Always makes quality products!

  • 3 Deployments to Iraq and going to Assganastan soon.. I will be taking my 12 Pmags with me. Bravo Beast WHOOAH!!!

  • "The new P-mag by Pullmag."

    brainfart!

  • yeah, but can it fire? and if it can fire what if I poor soda in the mag? will it fire then?

  • uhh it might, im not sure how that would affect its function, but i know if it didnt then the other 2 probably wouldnt either.

besides, when are you gonna be drinking soda while you are in a firefight?

  • Why the hell would you POUR soda in a mag anyway... This mag will stand up to just about anything you will face in the field..

  • Us Gonzalez are everywhere. I know some one will come with a rascist joke. About my this statement that I made. However, Magpul is a good product the thing is brass won't say no to Colt because they need a retirement job. Colt I bet you has promised these guys jobs if they keep them in business with the goverment.

  • yeah dude. that's the way of the world these days. along the same lines, oboma nicked the ceo of GM. he gets 20mil anyways. but if they go bankrupt he may lose just about all of it. huh... now it seems clear why they wouldn't just file chapter 11 and restructure in the first place. maybe I'm wrong but... it doesn't look good. my point is that inudstry has got their hooks in deep w/ the Gov. theirs too much of it. and we've let the Gov get too big.

  • agreed we have let govt run rampant..its disgusting..get ready for Pelosi /Obama care..fucking socialists..

  • Its good to know if I get run over by a Humvee i can change mags and shot the driver! LOL!

  • Lol the PMag by Pulmag

  • haha! yeah i thought thats what he said!

  • the yugo ak-47 mags are the best mags ever

  • WRONG! haha JK!!! you're only a little bit wrong!

  • now run it over w/ a M1 abrams.

  • I've seen them for $15 to $20

  • pulmag? lol

  • I don't even have the mags yet. just feeling the market out there. i'll buy a bunch then a year down the road when they are banned i'll sell them. so nows your chance get them now where every you can!!!!!! they will be GONE/BANNED!!

  • i expected more out of the k&k

  • H&K mags is what i meant

  • $40 a mag? What a gip. They are even cheaper than that on gunbroker. You sir are a douche. I bet they aren't even the windowed versions. Just by them on Gunbroker or wait until they show up again (prob sometime around middle of Feb.). Don't buy from this guy people.

  • Just goes to show you:

If you make it, our grunts can break it.

  • Really the Pmags are great but when will you be running over your GI mag?

  • Thanks for the vid. All I have are contract mags, but I'll look into the PMAG

    Stay safe fellas.

God Bless you and God bless the Republic

  • ill keep my free gi mag but ill make sure not to get it ran over

  • I bought 5 of them before I saw this video. Glad I made a good purchase. Thanks for the vid. Stay safe, guys.

  • The lesson here is don't let someone roll over your magazine with a 10,000LB transport vehicle.

  • is the military providing pmag's now or do you need to buy them on your own for use. does it void any insurance for some reason??

  • No, the military only provides us with contracted mags which aren't that bad. I never had one fail to function when I needed it too.

  • at 1:11 u said Pullmag instead of Magpul heh.

anyways im getting 3 soon =p n hopefully 6 more later on..

  • test your M4, let Humvee run over it, see what happen

  • Very good, and about $14-$15 but those things ran out of stock fast!

  • UCMJ article 108. Eh but who cares... this is worth it to show how shitty usgi can be.

  • Those makes are all of a few dollars. If the Army makes a s**tfit out of hit, then they seriously need to look at their budget :D.

  • if they UCMJ them, whats the worst that can happen....they send them to Iraq! hahahahaha!! those usgi mags sucked balls!

  • This is almost as bad as the standard issue gun oil they supply troops. They know it sucks, but they won't change it for the Militec dry gun oil that has been proven not to attract dirt and other shit you don't want in your gun.

  • At least you know that if you get ran over by a truck, your magazines will be ok lol

  • granted the HMMWV run over test is not the end all be all of tests but magazines do get crushed and shot and everything else. check out the video of the PMAG that was shot then still was able to feed rounds. It is a lil more convincing. I have shot regualr mags and Ive shot PMAGS and I wont roll out the gate with anything but a PMAG ever again

  • I better have a p-mag in case I get ran over by a hummer

  • Note to self: dont run over my mags with a humvee!

  • The hummer was ok, just don't pack them full of talcum like dirt.

  • Nice test I have a few of my own. (video test)

  • Just ordered one of these mags last week and am waiting for the delivery. If it functions as well as everyone says, I'll order a crap-load of them!

  • FNTZ keep up the good work. I know you boys would love to get rid of the Direct Impengement weapons issued but Hopefully that will be remedied soon. Direct Impengement costs lives, takur ghar, weapons fail and soldiers lives are at stake.Short stroke Piston=Effective

  • USGI mag = pos

HK "high-reliability" mag = expensive pos

USGI with magpul follower = win..

    PMAG = WIN!

  • Dude put about 1/4 pound of sand in the bitch. Steel barely works with anything in it.These function best with dust and dirt.

  • this video again proves that anything H&K is overpriced.

  • Bought 10 pmags myself... great price, very light, feeds like a winner.

Looks like every other mag maker out there is sweating bullets.

  • I have 2 pmags, best mags ever! I wish we would get issued those instead of those crappy ones they give us.

  • Apply an open flame to all three mags and post the video.

  • Apply an open flame to the mags with ammo and have the same result with all three. What an idiot. This mag feeds and functions as well as the HK mags so. This test is realistic, not fantasy(open flame). in combat crap like this happens but an open flame not likely. These mags can take rounds and still fit in the weapon cant say that for steel.

  • Actually, you're the idiot & an excellent pitchman for the company. My comment was directed at the absurdity of the "vehicle" tests. Do they pay you in mags? Realistic tests involve abrasion, impact, and heat as in rapid fire. Those are real world tests. Apply an open flame to all three and the pmag fails that test. So what, it proves nothing just like running over of the mags. If your magazines are run over, you are probably wearing them and dead or it was in the weapon and now it is fubar.

  • They put out a defective magazine and stood behind the product. Good for them. I'll stick with the tried and true and leave the beta testing to someone else.

  • If the ACR is as reliable and "runover worthy" as the PMAG then It ought to work just fine. I under stand the rapid fire and I have melted the feed lips of more ORLITE mags than I care to mention(got a refund though). These Mags stand up well to rapid fire and have used them with no melting after 500-600 rds of Full auto fire.

  • that recall was for units before 6/07 and i have 4 of those. They work perfectly. Go get one and try one out before you bash one of the best firearms company's around

  • Hey these mags are the best. We did the test with an 1114 up armored truck. These mags take a beating and these are the mags I trust my life with. Besides it's a big deferens an 8,500 lb Chevy and a 12,000 lb up armor truck plus combat load of ammo, computers, radios, navigation, power turret, water, food, gas, and all that heavy secret Squirrel shit.
