what ever happend to the Manchu 100 miler. my dad did it 4 days and nights all at one time back in 84-87 and he did a 25 miler 3 times before the 100 miler

Did two of these bad boys. The second one was a 25 mile trek around Casey and Hovey due to the prtoests going on in the area and all of 2ID being on lockdown. That was in 2002. That one blew big time!!

I did 3 of these while I was in B 1/9 in 95/96. Looks like the belt buckle has changed a little. I lost mine years ago but still have the AAM I got for completing the third one.

Could they walk it nonstop instead of stopping to rest? I like this army tradition stuff. I love the army so much, if it was a girl I would marry it. I wanna join after I join the marines for 4 years then I wanna try this Manchu Mile thing. I once walked 7 miles home straight from school. I wanna see if I could do this.

I am a disabled vet that completed the manchu mile in '99 or '00 (cant remember due to brain injury). i did 2 manchu miles while there around the same time. I need to get one as well...if you find out how, please let me know! i was DEATH company. Anyway, i know my buckles were well earned and moved so much they are just gone. Please let me know if you find anything! Greg

My hubby did this too. He broke his ankle on mile 5 and walked the rest with it broken. Him and his freakin ambition to finish. argh... all for a belt buckle and the opportunity to say 25 f-in miles baby... lol Gotta love them <3
