  • @azmanabdula even if you have to PM me for lack of comment chars allowed, please tell me what has verified evolution to the point of being the best explanation. I'd like to hear it. I'm not aware of anything proving that a program can come from no one.

Also, for a theory to be scientific, it must be falsifiable, meaning further tests can overturn old ideas, but funding isn't available for overturning long held beliefs is it?

  • What i want to know is this....if god determines destiny, then doesn't that mean manipulating cells, creating artificial intelligence/life, pro-longing life etc.... part of this destiny.

And if god controls destiny does that not mean that there is no such thing as freedom, is this not a paradox?

  • @redlightning0001 or reality is just more complex than a spherical chicken in a vacuum. The Bible clearly indicates choice and God's foreknowledge. Foreknowledge even if a bewildering concept shouldn't be confused with predestination. Scientists still find wave-particle duality bewildering, but that's life for you.

  • if Michio has a screwed up gene......it cant be that bad!

  • Do you presently read the owner's manual that comes with your computer? Actually they've stopped giving them out when we buy them now or at the very most they give up an abridged version. Do you even read that? My meaning, we use our computers without bothering with the user's manual because we can't be bothered to read it. So are we going to read any telephone book sized owner's manual about ourselves?

  • Owners manuel is meant as a metaphorically term that analysis your health risks in terms of your genetics.

  • Kaku is the man.

  • president clinton was one of the best presidents of the last years

  • Quran is tolaty to weak to be the Owner of the universum if there is a owner..

    dont you thiks so ?

  • ...likely more a manual of moral guidance...the Quran says nothing of your physiology or the specific mechanisms guiding life along its course. Science shows us what is; Religion (you cite the Quran) helps to tell us what we should do with the science we know...it is not a replacement for the information in this video...open your eyes to the true light of GOD, Zealot. HE is not so simple a force as to merely guide our choices...we require many manuals.

  • if u knw the way of the Prophet Mohammed then u knw the manual .....n he is whom u ppl deny, dont u?

  • I don't know to which people you are refering but I know that we are all the same people so then you must include yourself when you say, "you people." I personally am not versed in the teachings of the Prophet Mohammed but that doesn't mean that I deny him any more than I deny your existence or your teachings. Being scientifically & philosophically minded I am quite interested in the teachings of all my fellow peoples. Our collective brilliance is where I find GOD; I don't deny any of it.

  • I suppose the Quran speaks not of making your writing readable on the Internet.

  • This is the problem with humanity. Our minds are easily hijacked and made to believe stupid shit. People base their entire lives on myths for which there are no proof. I'm not just talking about Islam. I'm talking about ALL religions. Don't believe things based on FEELING and what your parents and culture believes!

  • You should notice that most people born in Arabic countries and most people born in Christian countries KEEP the religion they were born into. Is that because the religion they choose is true? Of course not! It's because they were raised to believe that religion and most people never question it! WAKE THE FUCK UP!

  • Well why not, say your a christian, you have the bible and its stories that it tells, you as a person must make your own decision to believe in them or not. True we go by what the book says but its gives people hope and something to believe in and brings people together as well. Take death for example if you dont believe in the good book or any of that where would u go after u die? u dont believe in heaven or hell so what do u become? Do u just become energy or are u reborn? it gives people hope

  • @year2kill2010 its been a year........now what do you think?

funny enough my banker asked me the same question today......

    "what happens when you die?"

i said "the same thing as before you were born"

    rational?

  • @azmanabdula It seems like itd be rational but i think it might be a little bit deeper than that in a way. I still agree with my comment i made a year ago but lets say you where a good faithful believer when u die, odds are u might go to heaven and if you werent a believer than probably either hell or limbo or something. But becoming "the same thing as you were b4 you were born" would basicly cancel out the two i mentioned above wouldnt it? Meaning we might as well live how we want to

  • @year2kill2010 "Meaning we might as well live how we want to"

NO im not saying that.........im not fond of going to jail........IN ANY CASE......

little bloke like me in jail.......damn...........we do have reasons to be good in society....it helps society run.........

  • @azmanabdula "it helps society run" true it does but dont you ever wonder what might happen in the afterlife? I mean the life we live in right now seems like just a test or something to me to either better prepare us for the next life or see what we would have done if we were already in heaven. To see how people treat other people, to see who lies and steals and is corrupted. I believe in hope thats why in my first comment i said "it gives people hope" referring to the bible.

  • @year2kill2010 im sorry dude.....im 20......."just a test or something to me to either better prepare us for the next life"

sound like some people want order to me......seriously no offence.....but to conclude an idea that we have an afterlife is a bit preposterous......when you die its the same as before birth.......any thing else has yet to be proven......i have taken psychadelic drugs and i assure you....its wonderful......ever had romance with nature.....and no....im not a greeny :) peace

  • @azmanabdula im 18 and no offense taken, but that was just my opinion on the afterlife, itd be like me saying that fter this life wejust go to another life without knowledge of the previous one. But i have one question for you, if "when you die its the same as before birth" than what was that like? I mean if we die and its supposed to be the same then does that mean i will go back to the basics? Not knowing anything and have to relearn everything as if i were 3,4, or 5?

  • @year2kill2010 the atoms that formed you would return to simpler molecules.......you might become plant material.......then eaten by another animal........then you become another.......remember everything is recycled!

Before birth.....the brain had no reference to anything.......but in death its swapped....there is a reference but no brain to do anything with it........

  • @azmanabdula that accounts for your body and brain but you dont think that something happens to the soul inside the body? You dont believe theres a specific place it may go to once this life is over? Or do you just think that the soul would just go to some cosmic energy life force or something of that nature?

  • @year2kill2010 i must ask you these........peace by the way...........ok......

What is the soul........if the brain holds memories.....then we cant retain memories after death......the problem is that the term "soul" has been loosely used to explain the how we go to the afterlife.......but never measured.......it cant be......its not there...

the body works well without the assumption of a soul.....

you must remember.....my opinion is that ghosts gods spirits angels all of them arent real..

  • @azmanabdula I look at it through the model of a user and computer. The computer with all its peripherals is the body and the soul is the user. For the soul to make use of the computer, it must have those faculties such as memory to make it useful. Then there might be a computer with AI and not need a user. Both could exist and be impressive.

Since a Creator is necessary, I believe on Jesus and believe him in matters that I cannot directly detect. that doesn't keep me from doing science.

  • @pastageek2 yes the brain is the computer.......you are the user......treat it well.... : )

"Since a Creator is necessary" it isnt....and you are yet to explain why......

  • @azmanabdula if someone asked you why the computer you typed that on needed a creator, even if made by other machines that down the line needed a creator somewhere, and likewise for the software, you should look at them incredulously. A fifth grader can understand this.

  • @pastageek2 did humans invent electromagnetism........

    did humans invent information....

OR did humans take hold of these and used it for our own benefit....

its hard to explain to you why objects created by humans need a human designer.....

and why humans and all animals/plants....... Do not.......

did god create you or was it your mother......?

do you look identical to your parents?

can you describe the way in which god creates everything?

can you describe how humans make blueprints?

  • @saxquiz considering evolution isn't allowed to be questioned, I would put it in that same category that you put Christianity. I would agree that most ppl don't question, but it's not God's fault if people ignore the directives in the Bible to learn. Nothing in the Bible impedes me from doing science just b/c it disagrees with popular theories.

  • this is amazing

    i watched them all twice

  • Da geht noch viel mehr, nur wer bitte kann sich den Spaß dann noch leisten?

Sind dann etwa die Reichen die besseren Menschen, weil sie sich selbst "tunen" können? Also mich würde es schon ankotzen,

wenn mein Bonzennachbar plötzlich Nachtsichtaugen und mehrere Terabyte zusätzlichen Hirnspeicher hätte!!

  • This is amazing

  • Wow this is some good stuff. I think that some of the new technology could be good for us and some might be not so good.

  • Kaku is simply brillient

  • he sure is

  • @JMN1985

He is, but your spelling isn't
