There r 2 types of 3rd person....1:Where u see them like u where god and the other one is over the shoulder view...I was askin about the second one.....
@Cri354 "Where u see them like u were god" is not an "over the shoulder" view. There is "First person", which is you playing and seeing through the persons eyes.
"Third Person Static", which is a static third person camera which is usually an over the shoulder view in which you see you're entire character. Then there is "Rotatable Third Person" Which is a zoomable/adjustable camera, like most "MMORPGs" tend to use.
The God view you mention, is called "Overhead view"
of course it will,Blizzard's budget is way higher than other game companies,they can put a lot more money in the game,it all depends on the budget,and Blizzard was a lot from World Of Warcraft,after all they have 11.5 million subscribers,cheers :D
11.5 million subscribers, yes, but they use all the money they get from them to pay for that massive electric bill on their servers, they have to pay more money for each extra player they put into their bandwidth. And i doubt that, more like bungie, since after all, they made 125 million on the first day of Halo 3's release alone. lol, and by the time they reached 8.1 million sales, they made $486 million, with halo 3 ALONE.
afcourse becouse diablo3 is kickass :) it's trilogy. maybe when this game will be trilogy it will be better. Becouse Blizzard already knew few mistakes they made in previous ones :)
I've played Diablo 1 and 2, and i didn't like them for 2 primary reasons, one, when u equiped stuff, it looked almost nothing like how it was in ur inventory and 2, it seemed very bland and boring, i mean, atleast in Legend u get some sidequests and in combat, they spice it up by throwing in various different animations for fighting and some finishers for creatures...
you can't compare a game that was developed in the early 1998 with a game developed in 2006,and by the way,blizzard if you watch closely but the basics in RPG and RTS games,for example look at titan quest,its inventory and interface are exactly like in diablo 2,and look at the interface in today's RTS games,they all resemble warcraft 1
RTS's games look NOTHING like warcraft ones interface at all, proof? umm, look at endwar, the entire total war series, Dawn of war, AVP RTS, Total Annihilation, earth 2150, stronghold series (which was before Warcraft 1), and lord of the rings battle for middle earth. i mean, the only RTS game i can think of with any significant resemblence is Red Alert.
