This nation is a democracy. That means that the winning party has power on a temporary basis until the next election. An election is a non-violent revolution. The game is that the party that did not win will try to win minds until the next revolution called an election. There are sure alot of sore losers out there. The point is the conservatives lost in 2008. If you want to win in 2012, then you better be offering to over 50% of the American people what they want.
