As fun as these games are, I'd like to point out that Phoenix would be ARRESTED if he acted this way in a real courtroom. He badgers witnesses mercilessly, and wastes the courts time wontonly. I'm glad that in Apollo Justice, somebody FINALLY managed to kick this hack off the bench. The games are fun, but the witness is NOT on trial, so Phoenix should NOT be allowed to treat them that way.

there's an obvious contradiction other than the one wright mentioned. Sahwit says he was too scared to enter the house, so how would he know the phone wasn't working?

Yeah, I think the reason for that, is because the story was dumbed down from the Japanese-English translation. Make me wants to learn Japanese. :(

Although I don't deny that possibility, I played this case again and you can actually point that contradiction out. However, Sahwit explains it away, saying there was a phone on a shelf right inside the door that he tried to use.

if you press Sahwit when he mentions about the fact that the phone was not working, pheonix asks him how he know this if he never entered the apartment.

however he explains that he tried using the phone just outside the apartment.
