  • best vid on fraps thanks

  • the filters option doesnt open plz help

  • I uploaded my video with your settings. It's great and the video downloads quick when viewing, but it seems this video is higher quality than mine, even though I put 2500 ABR for video settings in Avidemux. In youtube, when switching between 360, 480, and 720, there's no noticeable difference, and isn't as sharp as I would like it. Do you think this may be due to my screen resolution, or would increasing the bit rate make my video sharper?

  • My video is all choppy when i put it in, i feel like it isn't playing enough frames per second

  • Hey, first off thank you so much for your videos! I'm having a problem though at this stage of you series after exporting (and following all of you steps to the letter) when I try to bring the avi file into Premiere CS5 it will only import the audio not the video, please help.

    Thanks heaps.

  • Thank you good sir, I tip my hat to you.

My hat is actually a subscription that will last until the end.

  • I can't drag and drop the fraps file in Avidemux (the main reason I want to switch to it from VirtualDub), is there a setting you forgot to tell us ?

  • Hi! Have you heard bee4biz (do a google search)? It is a url locker that pays. Its much better than other sites and they always pay. Check it out if you want to earn good money shortening and sharing links online

  • I downloaded avidmux and when I click and drag my video (from fraps) it says that 'No audio decoder found for this file' (had to record in multichannel in fraps) but it wont tell me in avidmux what type of audio file is. It still has the video showing up but no audio.. any help would be awsome!

  • I CANT PUT MY FILES IN AVIDEMUX I COULD ONLY DOUBLE CLICK AND NOT PUT THEM TOGETHER HELP PLZ

  • @AdventureReviews what about if you're using Sony Vegas pro 9?

  • To put them together can't you just paste them together in order with movie maker? or do you have to use that to paste the footage together

  • what settings should I choose if I want to upload gameplay footage that's not 720p, just normal quality? I'd like decent/good quality and a <60mb file to upload, because my internet connection sucks and I would probably not be able to upload about 170mb per 10 minutes. (it takes about an hour to upload 40mb lol..) I appreciate advice!

  • I have an issue on fraps not showing up when I open up the mixer. Is there a way to fix it?

  • What kind of work do you do? 2:20

  • i made a 2.48 gig video and i uploaded with windows movie maker why could i do that but wen i try to upload it to youtube from the site it takes hours

  • YEAAH, thank you so much for that tutorial! It REALLY helped me out!

  • Why does my video jitter when i play it in avidemux

  • @shamwowofdeath as well as my audio

  • My point was that it is actually is an encoding process because, like I said before, it is in an avi format and therefore encoded. Avi files are always compressed. You can change the rate of compression but nevertheless it's always compressed since it's in an avi format.

  • @kledder2 yea but it is not an encoding process.. avi's are NOT always compressed. In fact there are 3 different type of uncompressed avis. An avi is just a container. Compression takes place during the image creation. Avi, MKV, Mov etc etc are containers.. they have nothing to do with the codec or with encoding.

  • @mmogamevidz

It's a container. I got mixed up with mpeg-4 but still I'm not sure wether it uses compression or not. You'll either have to ask the author for that to be sure.

  • 03:11 isn't it called avi-demux? you know as in demuxing a video. :)

  • 00:42 of course there is an encoding process. how else can it maken an avi file? It just doesn't compress it that much because that will result in a higher maximum capturing speed.

  • @kledder2 No. Encoding doesn't mean the creation of a file. It means the compression a image though the use of a codec. Fraps uses the uncompressed MS native avi formate. So there is no encoding. All it is doing is screen capping the image and then copying that into a avi container. This is not encoding.

  • Heya! Was so inspired to start with video editing when I saw this. I have Avidemux but I can't find the x264... Can anyone help me please?
