This was my house, i was interviewed in the other news story & it was pretty funny how much the reporter was trying to sound "concerned" haha. Whatever, Old news now.
Years ago, before we had MDT's in the trucks, I asked dispatch "What were those numbers again, please"? She replied "You won't need 'em" Sure enough, when we turned left out of the station....I didn't need any numbers!
Yes, excellent job on the firefighters part to protect exposures and conduct extremely quick searches of the lower units that were not yet involved. Also, a man was rescued from one of the apartments after being trapped by smoke and fire.
First engine on scene had a wall of flames on three sides of the building. WAY out of control.....
wow that must have been hot the power pole is smoking

It's also quite annoying when you're watching everything you own burn up and people are taking pictures with their cell phones.

Next time you make a video, don't stand next to a stoned moron. Or tell her to shut up.

Even after 25 years in the fire service, it still amazes me how much water it takes to kill a fire like that. So much energy. Amazing.

Looks like a real annoying place to try and find a spot to set up a ladder or high-rise truck.

I counted 169 cellphone cameras. Everyone thinks there a pro now.

You can tell by the way they're squirting the water that they're trying to put the fire out.
