  • This gives me SO much motivation to workout! I need to get my run and my Pushups WAY up. I am going to do it though. To join the worlds greatest Air Force is my DREAM and GOAL! i am also trying to use my Youtube videos to help motivate me to lose some weight too (even though i am in the height weight standards).

  • @bubblybrooke92 Hey man, I was 265 and wanted to join, I dropped to 175 to join. Anything is possible just stay in there. I'm now a Personal trainer for the Airforce

  • lol.. air force basic training... just lol.

  • @pwnzilla93 Airforce BMT, is just as hard as the Army one, no reason to laugh at one of the military branches unless you are a civilian and really are uninformed

  • Lmao yelling is against the rules in no branch of the military you jackass

  • Actually, The AF Instructors are not suppose to yell like a Marine DI or an Army DI. Yelling is against the rules but they do it anyway to stiffen up the recruits.

  • 6 and a half weeks? dude i know JROTC units with fish camps longer than that though.

  • @AiMhgsmith2

It's 8 and half weeks now. Has been for several years now.

  • so you have to go through this to fly airplanes?

  • @SAMSTIDD no you are entirerly wrong. only 6% of the air force flys. there are SO MANY jobs the air force has to offer.

  • @bassplayer1o1 Not for little queers like you, you little bitch!

  • @chiggero quit freaking stalking me! your a gay little queer

  • if i joine for computer engineer or some sort of engineer, will i still have to go to battle or overseas?

  • I will say this when your surrounded by the Taliban and bullets are coming inches away from your head wouldn't it be nice to have some af close air support brought to you by the combat controllers

  • bootcamp is easy ... still working on the lyrics for the concertsss ..

  • any one know what that song is??

  • When they say you need to be prepared, you need to be prepared. When the drill sergeants are in your face, yelling, spitting, calling you a loser, and calling you fat, you need to prove them wrong.. it makes everything so much fucking easier.

  • they dont even do assault courses with kit... thats abit easy :|

  • 1:10 six and a half weeks i thought it was 8 and a half weeks

  • @BILLYFOXx93 It is 8 1/2 weeks now. It was changed on November 3, 2008 to the longer training time.

  • @TheThreadsofFate so how long is bmt now

  • @BILLYFOXx93 Currently BMT is 8 and a half weeks long.

  • lol why are they crawling in mud. airforce people never see any action Lol....

  • @KoNtRoLLrrs your completely wrong. Saying that is an insult to the friends ive had die down range, and to my many other friends who have done shit down range, so dont start this competetive bull shit between branchs. Im assuming by ur comment your either new to the military, or your a naive jackass who has never actually watched someone die or killed another man. Dont talk shit about people who fight with you, because in the end, its that guy who will save your ass.

  • @SomberSF so when excatly is crawling in mud going to be used in the airforce? They dont get dirty sitting behind a desk :] im actually counting on my fellow shipmates and marines to save my ass Cause they go in first. i wouldnt wana wait forever now Lmao.

  • @KoNtRoLLrrs You know... i have nothing much to say to this comment other than... you can say what you want, but when your downrange with other branchs attached to the same unit, it amounts to the same thing.

  • What a joke!

  • wow....bootcamp for the air force has changed since i was there in 1974...we did not have to crawl in the mud....it was 6 weeks..and then you gone...

  • i ship oct 5th

  • @pepsiorangepepsi sucks for you bro shulda joined the Marine Corps

  • smh i hated kp duty the most at bmt...

  • There is an infantry for spec ops like a pararescue man but it's really hard but basically the infantry in the airforce is like security forces that's probably the closest of infantry the airforce has which sucks so I might just join the marines but I'm in afjrotc so not sure

  • @Adamkhang18 ...Trust me, the Air Force does not have an infantry and neither does the Navy. Only 2 branches in our military here in the USA have an infantry. 1) the Army and 2) the USMC. Just because an Airman goes to the field or is in special ops does not mean this is the infantry. Lets not try to make the AF out to be something it is not.

  • @Adamkhang18 There is no infantry in the Air Force. TACP though does deploy with army infantry often as a liason between the airforce and army.

  • @krknodle all i can say to this comment is... you dont know shit.... that should be enough.

  • haha love the smiling and laughing! and the D.I. points with one finger not four? haha mcrd san diego is where these people should go see if they laugh and smile then haha

  • There is a physical and a mental challenge in BMT. Apply yourself fully and you will succeed!

    USAF SAC 380th BW vet

  • @380AMS

i am considering joining but not sure what i'm getting myself into or if i can even do it. can you have a life? are you still in it? what route did you take? i'm just trying to ask around sorry for the questions.

  • anyone in the military is a brave soul...to lay your life down for your country, yeah you have my respect!! i'll be joining the USAF & my boyfriend is a marine...i couldnt be more proud & happy for him. I support all military branches cuz we're all in the armed forces to serve our nation...right?!?! so respect!!! RESPECT!!!

  • @EvilPotHeadAngel

    Hell Yea...

  • almost all my family members were in the air force. its not just for those people who dont wanna do anything dangerous or take the easy way out. The air force is tough shit

  • i leave this august ...i am about to be air force fly

  • @kevburyn yo kevburyn glad to see a fellow airman who knows what the air force is really about have you heard about the new security forces squad known as the ghostwalkers? they are described more as infantry than actual security forces

  • I'm nt tht smaricle n i RELY wanna join

  • @kevburyn Hey man i want to be an aircraft maintainer also. Did you have prior maintenance knowledge before you entered the airforce? I don't have a lot, but It interests me the very most.

  • (2) I would like you to remember that when you ride in an Air Force plane, receive an Air Strike from an F-16 that has been diligently patrolling you and your squads area, and the Airmen providing geographic and weather data for the surrounding area so that you and your team don't get run over by a sandstorm or walk off a cliff. Please just remember that while you worked your ass off at BASIC... so did we.

  • (1) I find it entertaining that people will come on Youtube to bash a branch that protects you 95% of the time. Clearly the Military personnel which I doubt there are any, that decide to call the United States Air Force "Pansies, Pussies, fat, lazy, dishonorable, and without bravery",

  • in the obstcal course how deep is the water if u fall

  • And bootcamp is only 6 weeks this is nothing

  • @prizerebelman12 its 8 weeks

  • It's not 6 weeks any longer. It's same as everyone elses.

they've started a new, warrior first program or something tot hat effect.

  • This video makes the AF boot camp look easy and we all know that none of the boot camps are easy. I think the reason why is because the AF wants people to join, so they make their boot camp look easy. People also think that joining the AF means they won't go to Afghanistan, which isn't true because everyone from different military branches are over there, even if there's not a sea battle or an air battle. Every boot camp teaches combat training so anyone is trained enough to go over seas.

  • Airforce is the easiest! I meen look at the video its a bunch of fat panzies! Go for us army or marines if u want pussy!

  • go through boot camp and u tell me how pansy everyone is..

  • @jacobbis4lovers Actually basic training is cake, Just don't take hard getting yelled at personal. You are not physically abused, Just know that after 6-8 weeks you are now an airmen. Only hard thing is high school graduates get home sick.

  • @mebevietdawk yeah, too easy for me.

  • @jacobbis4lovers

this isn't true yes the air force has people in deployed locations although your odds of going overseas are waaaaay less depending on your career field.

and in case there is any doubt BMT was not easy.

  • @jacobbis4lovers this is true but in air force bmt u dont even fire a weapon..

  • @slcslobalt Where did you hear this? In Air Force BMT you fire and qualify on an M-16 (at least you did when I went through in 2007). I hear now they are firing the M-9 as well... but don't quote me on that.

  • @jacobbis4lovers lol....

  • man i miss those days

  • me 2...was there in 1974...3710 bmts...flight 17...

  • I would love to see someone go through basic training and think, "that was easy." It will be the hardest thing you've done in your life both mentally and physically. You can't knock it unless you try it.

  • @tubeyouler87 if you think this is hard....

  • I served four years in the USAF and two in the ANG back in the 80's. Those were some of the best of times. If you are talking with a recruiter be specific about getting into the specialty you want. You may have to delay your enlistment date but you do have a choice. One thing I didn't like about the USAF was that the only way to increase your rank during the first four years was time. If you want to move up the ladder quick join the navy.

If you want action join the Marines.

  • @gerberbaby50 You are not from the Marines. Any branch of any military force respects another like a brother. You are very immature for coming onto youtube and talking trash about another force. Grow up.

  • @gerberbaby50 I agree.

  • it's Marine Corps. Not core. And if you really were a Marine, you would have respect for your brothers in arms, not bashing on them. Dumbass.

  • o mos huh wow i didn't know they changed the name of it how about afsc??

  • I dont know why people say that the air force is weak. If people would only see the Tactical Air Control Party(TACP) which is what im doing they will see that the Air Force is not weak at all. The Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape(SERE) squad is also pretty hard core.

  • Its all a game in BMT.

  • I want to join the air force, so could anyone tell me what it's like?

  • Usually smart people go into the air force because there's more jobs and they have the best technology. You are more likely to find a great career when you leave the air force than you are if you leave the army or marines. However, joining the army and marines takes more bravery and honor. If you want to a good paying job and work with the best techology, then join the AF. if you want to be in the frontline and fight for your country, join the army or marines. It's your life. It's your choice.

  • thats the typical perseption but coming from someone who has served in the Air Force, Air Force Reserve, Air National GUard and now the Army National GUard that is totally not true, it totally depends on what job your in regardless of what branch, is all about what training for what job

  • @keyla31 I am thinking about going into military because, but this seems to be a lot more rigorous than what I have seen from Navy boot camp.

  • i am in the air force reserve. and this is not true. some of the air force jobs are also marine navy or army jobs. e.g. linguists, air transport, age.

  • where do you do your 2 days at?

  • driving a jet doesnt make you a pussy fuck face

  • @airforcejoel1

a jet is piloted not driven sir.

  • @diapebutt same thing u know what i mean

  • You're obviously a 12 year old kid talking, the real army, marines, and navy know air support is a fucking godsent when you need it.

  • @jacobbis4lovers are you fucking kidding me. Ever heard of officers in the army and marines, and have you ever seen the low percentage number of copter pilots in Vietnam

  • @jacobbis4lovers The Air Force now has an Infatry, they are just in the "frontline" just as much as the Army, i think its bullshit that people think It takes more bravery to fight for your country if you are in the army and marines. get your information straight kid before you think that not all military us equal

  • @p0pe1991 ..The AF does not have an infantry. Only two branches in the US military have an infantry and the AF is not one of them. Just because a branch has a few people who work in the infantry, this does not mean they are infantry or that the branch has an infantry.

  • @lavadog The AF Airmen Creed was changed im pretty sure just this year, the hurtburt home of special force of AF is making an infantry, check AF site or go right down to HurtBurt yourself check it out, you will be amazed the changes AF is making to be like Army and Marines since only 4 percent of AF is actually pilots,

  • @lavadog

They do have an infantry. You should maybe ask someone who knows. Every branch has a infantry. Some might not be as big, but they all have one.

  • @cyberwolf1313

Air force does NOT have infantry. ur wrong about that.

  • @p0pe1991

    Helll yea.

  • @p0pe1991 Would the Air Forces new infantry stay at home ( U.S ) or somewhere else?

  • @SkaterJake191 No, they are out there. They work with the Army though

  • @jacobbis4lovers More bravery or honor my ass! All branches of the military have their role in protecting the United States!

  • @Pasaria

    You are completely correct.

    Thank you

  • @jacobbis4lovers

There all equal when talking about Bravery and Honor. They still could fight in the front lines. They are at just as much at a risk of dieing for there country as marines and army. You should be carefull of what you say. You could really piss people off.

  • @jacobbis4lovers ,,,respect bro and true in a way but only the weak join the air force , navy, army, and coast gaurd, because they cant handle the Marine Corps

    HOOORAH!!!

  • @jacobbis4lovers Usually smart people join the air force? really now.. willing to bet theres even smarter people in any other branch & it doesnt matter what branch you come from to help get a great career, if you goto college & milk the military system before you get out your already on track for a good career

navy has way more jobs the the airforce btw :p

  • @KoNtRoLLrrs The Navy doesn't have any jobs right now. The best way to get into the NAVY is to be a High School Senior.

  • @jacobbis4lovers

Usually smart people go into the air force

not this guy! I think if I was smart I would of stayed out of this air force

  • Wait....they only go to boot for 6 weeks???? Thats pathetic

  • No, basic training is 8 1/2 weeks long.

  • well we starts aug17 2009 and now this coming feb19 was the dated graduation for my class..

p.s. i said BMTS Philippine airforce..

also im officially an airman now :D

  • @MrJustpickaname philippine bmt last 6 months..

  • bmt is not 6 months.

  • @MrJustpickaname w/c where im now.. :P

  • No we go for 9 weeks now.

  • me voy para a ya por leyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy att obed delgado

  • What most fail to realize is that the physical demands of any basic training program account for only a small part of the hardships you face. While the marines may be the hardest physical challenge of them all, I would be willing to bet the intellectual trials and attention to detail required in AF basic are harder than any other service. The fact is, short of Special Forces, the Air Force is not very physically demanding in the jobs performed, however, they are no less difficult or important.

  • vanquisher91. i agree wholeheartedly. by far the most mentally taxing basic is the Air Force. By Far.

  • I was in basic back in "81" it was only 6 weeks then. It wasn't nearly as physically challanging as this video depicts. The first week was designed to weed out the flakes. TI's were screaming at us for 18 hours a day. I remember on my third day I finally had a chance to speak....I asked the kid next to me "Are you doing okay?" he said "I'm going F-ing crazy." I said "that's alright we all are." USAF basic is about attention to detail. Any spare time spend it shining your boots.

  • this is so fuckin gay air force basic is a joke

  • no it isnt, its the hardest and toughest basic of all branches. do you actually think theyha re going to allow just anybody to be in the Air Force?

  • @Holret i actually believe the marines have the hardest basic training ...

  • @Holret hahaha yeah fukn right!

do me a favor and attempt to smile in marine corps boot camp. i promise the next 15 minutes after that moment will be more challenging then the entire air force boot camp.

  • Oh yeah with your little stress cards? fucking pussies! you dont get that shit in the AF

"oh look at me, im stressed out dont yell at me anymore wah wah wah"

  • i have yet to see anyone pull that shit in boot camp.

you think you know but you have no idea lol

i dare you to step foot on MCRD and see what goes down, please i beg you! hahaha

  • yeah thats like asking you to step into the snake pit on purpose! I dare you!

  • @Holret The marine corps boot camp is way more challenging than any other boot camp. It's 12 weeks of rigorous training, more physical than any military boot camp. The reason I know is because my friend was in the AF and then went to the marine corps and he said it was the toughest 12 weeks of his life. The marine corps isn't for everyone and it's not something to be taken lightly. Anyone could handle the AF, even my 95 year old grandmothers who can't walk. I'm joining the Army wooo

  • yea true its thirteen weeks by the way. don't know if they changed it. Marines get to mess with more weapons.

  • @icemanfml With a pathetic mouth like yours I would say your a joke. Air Force Basic Traing would beat you into the ground.

  • What is the song in this video?

  • I could be wrong, but I don't think they don't have an "assault course" anymore (i.e. obstacle course with rifles and barber wire, etc.)... They still carry rifles, and go out to BEAST, as well as have an obstacle course, but I think only the academy has a true assault course...

  • Air Force BMT is now 8 1/2 weeks and has changed ALOT!

  • It sure has; when I was in, dinosaurs roamed Lackland, and BMT was 6 weeks long. No such thing as Warrior Week and NBC training with MOPP gear then.

  • I though Air Force didn't use rifles.

  • all millitary branches learn basic firearm use in BMT, that way they are prepared for any scenario.

  • they don't. they just get an "introduction"

  • lol thats where your wrong iam going in as an MP and iam ready to leave for basic in November 10th and i learn how to shoot grenade launchers ect...

  • Oh for those of you Nintendo addicts thinking of going into the USAF - basic (BMT) is rough but it doesnt end when you get done - Jan 2010 the AF fitness program goes from once a year running the 1.5 miles to twice a year with pushups, situps, abdominal circumference measurement and the 1.5 mile run all part of it and a point system where you have to do the mins for each event, and those have to add up to 75 points minimum. Hard to do 38 pushups in a minute when you spend your life watching TV

  • Holy shit! BMT isn't what it use to be when I went in in 1977. It was alot easier back then. There were some who couldn't even make it and get washed out. 20 years later I retired. Had enough.

  • Easier? I went through the 3711th in June to July 76 with Gentry as senior MTI (was a Marine before that) and our sister flight had some mean SOB named Paralis as their senior MTI. Hell these people have clean pools under the obstacles on the confidence course, we had those nasty smelly green ponds then. They dont mow, paint or even get KP! This is a recruiting clip with the usual hype. I too finished at 20 - enjoyed it but enough - with 8 of those 20 as a tech school instructor at Chanute.

  • It appears BMT isn't quite the same as when I went through. Good.

  • Weak Sauce

  • God damn, I can't wait to go!

  • Haha this video brings back bad memories. I went through basic October of 06 and this video is accurate. Some advice to those going in, don't be either a chow runner, latrine queen or dorm chief. Bad jobs to have in basic

  • i actually can't wait till i leave.. but i'm one of those people that knows how to not ask questions and do things exactly like im told to the best of my ability. i just don't always pay attention to detail but i found in hardcore at ycp that they say drop you say how many and SOUND OFF!

  • What is the song in this video????

  • RAAF FTW represent

  • Wow kjz13, you're a fucken clown. I didn't even realize that you were in the Army. I had a whole heap of respect for the Army and refused to believe that they were just dogs, but after reading your garbage grammer and white trash rationalization, I guess its everybody except you. Your probably just some guy in weeds and seeds POG because anybody with a decent head or a decent service record respects all the branches, youre just a dog.

  • By the way, now is the chance to say that you are a green beret ranger super space nuclear rocket specialist of death and great justice. So go on, I wouldnt mind laughing at you some more.

  • @Mansavage lol even better would be "combat cook" hahahaha

  • They can curse at you.. But can't touch you.. And if you're too much of a chump to get called something questionable or foul.. Then you REALLY shouldn't be in the military..

  • no wonder the US defence force is so horrible only 6 weeks of recruit training for the airforce.. wow

  • As far as the U.S. military being horrible, I'm pretty sure our record speaks for itself. That six weeks is now 8.5 plus up to a year in tech school afterward. Either way it doesnt matter because your bitch ass has clearly never experienced military training anyway so who gives a fuck about your oppinion

  • 6 and 1/2 weeks? I thought it was 9 weeks of fun in the sun.

  • thats army marines is 12 weeks of fun in the sun haha

  • im signed up to join the air force and i was wonderin if t.i.'s can and really spit in your face in basic training? because i read that on a site and i wanted to find out if it was true, if anyone knows!

  • no, they dont spit in your face

  • Um...HELL NO lol

They can not touch you or curse at you even.

  • how do u know? did u actually go 2 basic training?

  • they are allowed to touch you and curse at you, they just cant harm you, ie punch you or what have you. i know this from experience, seeing aas i have been

  • If you think that trainees in basic dont get cursed at then you are out of your mind. My TI told us the first night,"Fuck is one of my favorite words. I'm going to say it a lot. If someone has a problem with that, they can tell on me and you may get a new TI. That TI will make you pay." General grade officers who have never experienced basic can make all the rules they want, but no one at Lackland is going to coddle the trainees.

  • Well when she said, "spit in your face." I thought she meant like HAWK a big LOOGIE and spit in your face lol

But of course you're going to get yelled at. And I always figured that they werent supposed to curse so they didnt.

But I curse like a sailor myself so I really dont give a shit either way.

  • The only way the TI would really get in trouble for cursing is maybe if there were repeated complaints from trainees from multiple flights, but no trainee is going to tell because no one is there to be a bitch. Plus, to tell on your TI you would have to go to the section supervisor, and when section supervisors look at you your soul dies, and no one wants that.

  • They dont just straight up spit in your face, but when they are screaming at you about an inch from your face, you'll probably get some spit on you. Just make sure you dont move to wipe it off, because you'll be at the position of attention.

  • Whats the song that starts at :10?

  • I'm in AFROTC, and I have high respect to the airmen that go through Lackland AFB for BMT. To those who are going, I say good luck and never give in. Also does anyone know the name of the song in the background starting from 0:10 seconds in? Please message me!

  • Dude, come on man. Obviously there are different branches for different reasons. Air Force is more for the thinkers, the Army and Marines is more for the fighters. They all have their purpose. Don't down one because you're in another. You're doing dishonor to your OWN branch. It is what it is, let it be and prosper by doing what you love to do. Not making others feel dumb because they're doing what they love.

  • if u r lookin to be takin test and shit all the time for every little thing then the air force is for u but if u want to get rank cause u r a good soldier and u know your job then join the army

  • u know what army stands for right aint ready for marines yet

  • and you know what air force stands for...anal fags

  • Garuntee your a fucking POG, if your even in the army at all

  • ok seriously this is immature, were america as one no branch is any better then another

  • ur are so right! every branch has something that sets them apart from the other branches.

  • I know the guy at :58.

  • สวัสดีครับ

  • yo we r the ones that protect your ass cause the air force dont give enough weapons trainin.... when we get into fire fights over in combat its the army that takes care of the shit and the air force duckin behind us pissing their pants cause they are scared

  • We'll remember that when you need Air Support.

  • you can't penetrate a reinforced bunker with the 5.56 NATO that we fire out of the m-4 and m-16, the army's issue weapon.

  • next time you are in trouble, remember where those A-10s are coming from.....they just dont appear in the right place

  • Search & Rescue my friend....

    SO THAT OTHERS MAY LIVE

Marines like to clown the Air Force until they are getting their asses kicked behind enemy lines and end up on the radio screaming for the PJs

    LOL

  • Everyone has a diffrent view of the Training and who you want to become..

  • to everyone that is thinkin about goin into the air force it sucks there is alot of pussyz that is why i am in the army now it is alot better and the promotion rate is better

  • From your grammar I would figure you as army. Thank God for people like you! We need all the non "pussyz" bullet catchers we can get! For people that are looking for an education and a career, Airforce is the way to go!
