They use Mesa CABS. They have those loaded with Celestion 30's, I think Joel's has 75's. They both use Framus Cobra heads. Which how they get their signature tones. Cobra's are slightly rare, so thats why they have the Killswitch Signature sound, cause not many bands use them.

You´re right killswitch doesn´t use Mesa amps ! KSE use Splawn Nitro with Maxon OD808 for OD tones and Mesa Lonestar (Adam) , Fender Vibrolux(or Twin) for cleans (Joel)

hey man, depending on what amp your using. you can actually get ure amp to squeal like that. yea the emgs help but its not the big deal that makes it sound like that. adam uses a maxon od808 in front of his od. gives him tons more gain.

i use a bugera 333xl and its circuitry is simmilar to peaveys and mesas. I put a maxon in front of mine. identical as all heck to his tone.
