@marclee0191 agreed, they might take their self assessment and self demand a bit too harshly, but ultimately it's what made them grow into the admirable band that the are now :)
@giovanni9763 that's some bullshit man, infact it's near disrespectful towards such a talented and growing and evolving band, or to any band for that matter
@tru2daflu The entire album is pure awesome. The only thing I don't like about it is 'in the event everything should go terribly wrong' because it's kinda just there to take up space. (Kinda fun to yell it's song name in an ETiD show when they take requests) She's my rushmore, floater, godspeed us to sea... omg.
@MrGambal Yeah I can agree with that. I don't really even consider that a song really. I saw them in Buffalo a month ago and they hardly played anything off of Hot Damn. I might just be being a jerk-off though since all I wanted them to play was shit off of Hot Damn!
wanderlust is sooo fucking good, the sweet life, organ grinder, goddamm kids, and host disorder OH and the marvelous slut. i dont know which i like the most !
I like all of ETID works. I'm more partial to their old stuff and my favorite songs are from their Debut and Sophomore albums. From Burial Plot Bidding Wars: The Emperor's New Clothes and Morphine Season. From Last Night in Town: Punch-Drunk Punk Rock Romance and Here's Lookin' At You. I would pay 4x normal ticket price if they played one of those songs!
They're just being modest. Like most artists, they tend to hate their old work, no matter how amazing anyone else thinks it is. It's all about perfecting your work, striving to evolve beyond the past, and improving your skill. Though it's true that returning to your roots can be helpful as well.
Red Stripe Pint.
Me and him are too alike.
