As a Crew Advisor PinkPunk is correct the current program is 12 years old from 1998 and is from the Explorer program. Because it is now a Co-Ed Program we talk more about our New Program Venturing, which is what we are promoting.

Venturing started at 1998, we adopted some of the system use in exploring. Exploring is from Learning for LIfe, a sub program launched by BSA. Both programs born from the same father, but never alike. And exploring is not dead, a few months agro one opened in my district.
