  • Did they have a plane to catch?

  • The best guitar lines ever. One of the very few tunes where the lead has to work

the entire song (and does it so brilliantly) I can listen to it a million times and still get something new from it.

  • We are big fans of Television and the new wave scene. If you could have a listen to our stuff (click our name and it will take you to our videos) and let us know what you think it would be much appreciated. Thanks

  • wats the extra large bog roll doing at the back?waiting for a bum chord?

  • Genial!

  • i love Television. I wish I could see them live, they're such a unique and original band.

  • I saw Richard LLoyd at the University of Miami in 1986 Great show

  • Thanks so much for these videos, Steiner62! I was lucky enough to see Television (on same bill with the original 3-member T-Heads) many, many times at CBGBs in the mid-70s, and love them just as much today. Thanks for the great music and memories!

  • yep, Television headlined. have it on tape.

  • tu love ce groupe ^^

  • They aren't entertainers. They will do what they please.

  • Thank you for not liking this. Please forget you saw it and please don't tell anyone about it.

  • Just listen to the SONG holmes...

  • I have to agree, this is about the best song in the world. Amazing guitar work. Great lyrics -- "Did you feel low? Nah, I fell into the arms of Venus de Milo." Ah, the glorious fall into the arms of a Venus that has no arms.

  • thanks so much for posting. looks like richard lloyd on the right?

  • Correct!

  • I saw Televison twice back in the mid-late 70s in the NYC area when the opened for Peter Gabriel... unfortunately they were booed off by some rowdy Gab fans for the NYC show...

  • What???? How could anyone want to boo off Television???? I would be honoured to see them even once!

  • yeah man fuck Peter Gabriel fans!

  • the besto song of the world

  • this version is at a faster tempo than when I saw them in NYC...

Then again, this is 5 years earlier... I guess even rock and rollers get older and slower

  • The 2002 shows were great -- did you see them at Irving Plaza?

  • When did they play at Irving? Gaahhh I wish I had gotten into Televison a lot earlier in my life

  • Actually, this version is faster than the original.
