I used to love TE stuff. Unfortunately my old 2x10 combo got damaged and I made the mistake of simply replacing it with a new one. What a disaster! The new has no power, farts and hisses until thumped, and has an appalling sound in comparison with the old stuff.
Really, I suggest you avoid the new TE stuff as they are simply an over-priced pile of parts trading on their past quality.
I have LOVED ( and use ) Trace Elliot bass amps for around twenty years now. I like the older GP11 amps, and now I have a GP7. This video is actually very helpful and informative. I also have a Trace Elliot Brat as a practice amp. I will ONLY use TE !!!!

If I had the money and means and the reasons...I would use one of these to power 2 Peavey TVX stacks consisting of 2 4x10s each.

interesting that- i've been using a 12 band trace head to power a peavey 4x10 and 1x15 and that combination does the biz!!
