  • Scarecrow never has it easy.

  • if you mute the video, it looks like somethin out of Afro Samurai.

  • i like this song

  • Scarecrow: can anyone here speak for the holy man

    Batman: I can

    That was so badass

  • the kick at :54 was awesome

  • Does the fighting style remind anyone else of Afro Samurai?

  • Scarecrow got hit by the pipe lol

  • batman is wearing the dark knight suit

  • isnt this the guy that voices him in arkham asylum

  • @feedbackrichie you mean kevin conroy because he has been the animated voice of batman for 20 years

  • @MrBassem95 yes thanks

  • This is meant to be in continuity with the Nolan films, taking place between Begins and Dark Knight. But it's hard to believe Scarecrow could have survived that to make his brief appearance in TDK. Also, he really seems like a completely different character, more in line with the traditional depiction of the Scarecrow.

  • @evilemperordude No it's not. It is hypothetically set between the two films but it is never fully established as a part of the Nolanverse. This should be obvious just by watching.

  • "I CAN!"

  • I don't care what anyone says, Kevin Conroy is the best Batman. You hear his voice and you think, "this is what Batman would sound like, if he was real".

  • 0:54 FALCOOOON KICK!

  • in my opinion this is the best depiction of how batman fights. effective, unflashy, and demonically fast. the weird anime style makes it look so surreal, which really strengthens the image of batman as something supernatural, in spite of bruce wayne being very much a human.

  • @lemmedasker Yes a human but who attained the Peak of physical perfection :D

  • @lemmedasker I agree, completely. I really dislike the Krav Maga-ish way that Batman fights in the Nolan films, with all of the brute force and smacks, and although it's not quite as bad, I don't like the way Batman fights in Arkham Asylum, either, with all of the spins and jumps and twirls and slow but powerful kicks and punches. I think he should strike like an otherworldly force of nature, not an MMA fighter, and I think this scene really captures that. Just my opinion.

  • this, crossfire, and field test all have the best look

  • this was the best episode

  • omfg only if james bond could fight like that lolz

  • coooooooooooool ;)

  • Scarecrow looks bad-ASS!

  • @gevoman1 meh hes ok...but what i was more interested in was OH MY FKING GOD DID HE JUST PICK UP A PIPE? LIKE THATS THING IS SOLID STEEL!

  • For the most part I found Gotham Knight kinda so so and it's a shame that Scarecrow STILL gets very little screentime along with Croc, this and Deadshot were definately the best episodes. This one in particular. I'm not really crazy about the rest but their alright. The anime just works better on this than it does in ones like Field Test (Bruce looks like a 17 year old for example) and the fight scenes were GREAT. It wasn't all close like Batman Begins and Conroy returned! Great short.

  • at 59...ouch!!

  • This is the more awesome seen of the entire movie !

Seriously when Batman come down and began fighting all the scarecrow's henchmen and finally owned this last. Pretty cool, it's how should bee Batman : completely awesome !

  • is this a movie or show

  • when scarecrow is watching the fight,he looks like he doesnt know whats going on

  • "Who can speak for the holy man?... I CAN!" (A dark shawdow suddenly decends out of nowhere...a wraith has entered the room)

  • THis was my favorite scene in the entire movie! Batman owns Killer Croc then goes and wrecks Scarecrows shit when he's bleeding and got fear toxins in him! I loved it at 2:08 when Scarecrow got owned by that pipe! Priceless! THanks for posting dude!

  • I don't read comic books at all, but on the subject of batman vs. superman i have to agree with the batman fans. I see it as super intelligence vs. brute strength. Intelligence usually wins. That's why gorillas are kept in zoo cages while us physically more fragile humans reign over this planet. If superman were as calculating and intelligent as bruce wayne, the superman series would be boring because he'd never get in trouble.

  • @tdragonxp & if Batman ever got superpowers...it would be over for so many people, in sooo many ways lol He would easily render several superheroes obsolete

  • batman is still badass even hes poison fuck , that a true hero better than superman anytime and always will be

  • i hear that

  • in hush superman never beat batman batman actually fought him and he got him out of hypnosist from poison ivy so youre the one who never read a comic book

  • is the movie anygood?

  • Batman looks fat :/.

  • Batman looks fat because he eats confort food.

  • some reason joker is the reason why batman became batman..well wheres the joker

  • Joker wasn't even batman's first villain. Learn to wikipedia.

  • Well, according to wikpedia, the Joker was the villian in the first issue of Batman's first standalone comic in 1940. So that should count for something. But I also see why he wasn't in this, I was told this was supposed to bridge the first and second films. Though if that's the case, it doesn't quite make sense to see scarecrow like this.... Perhaps I was misinformed.

  • he isnt in this because this is inbetween batman begins and the dark knight and the joker appeared on the dark knight

  • Scarecrow is actually in the start of the 2nd as well but he gets captured early on.

  • i like how scarecrow looks in awe as batman takes his minions down.i also like that batman is so bad ass he can take down more than 6 of scarecrows goons with a toxin/hallcingin coursing through his body. take supermans powers away for 2 seconds and put him in that situation he wouldnt stand a chance that is how badass batman is

  • NO WAY MAN SUPERMAN HAS LIKE SO MANY RESOURCEFUL COMPANIONS BESIDES HIS SUPERPOWERS. LIKE FOR EXAMPLE KRYPTO THE SUPERDOG AND ALSO THAT JIMMY KID THAT WORKS AT THAT NEWSPAPER, SUPERMAN COULD JUST BLOW A DOG WHISTLE AND THEY WOULD BOTH COME RUNNIN- hahaa, oh i can't even do this anymore

  • not to start an argument or anything but superman is basically useless without his superpowers but batman with or without superpowers will still be the best and the fact that batman has beaten superman on many accounts should prove batmans greatness and supermans uselessness and LOL on the dog whistle

  • What about the 9 other times Superman has beaten Batman? And Superman would'nt be Superman without his powers, that's why they call him Superman.

  • well fisrt of all there has not been a time when superman has beaten batman secondly superman can lose his powers on a number of conditions like orange krptonite and red sun radiation

  • There has not been a time where Superman has beaten Batman? lol

What about these issues where he has:

    Hush

    Red Son

    Babel

    Superman/Batman #2

    Lex Luthor:Man of Steel

    Superman: King of The World

    Infinite Crisis

I can tell you never read comic books......

  • no the joker is not in it its jus like sum random old villinas like scarecrwo ugly ass

  • Random? Scarecrow? Killer Croc?

    Sweet christ

  • @AyBeeSeaDee they should make the scarecrow a robot orsomething maybe a work of magic?, rather than flesh...so he'd be hard to defeat...

  • @youtheee Can someone say Scarebeast?

  • @Syncon1881 I'd rather call him the ScareCrow;)

  • @AyBeeSeaDee also the scarecrow just fricking lifted a massive pipe super human strength?

  • Great animation, good flow movement and excellent screen shot angels.I admire good work from these people I'm glad they still did 2d animation we have to keep 2d alive.

  • This version has such an awesome batman, better then the other segments in my opinion. It has a btas fell with a slight modern revamp feel. Plus it's got my main man kevin conroy.

  • This movie was kick ass.

  • i love how he just casually owned all of those people and just got to sit back and watch it and in the movies the gets all shaky when he fights

  • Scarecrow is lik "WTF oh shit its batman! Time to make like a pussy and get hit by a random pole!"

  • An insult!?

  • im srry, i saw the entire movie a few days ago, and i take it back, it was very well made :)

  • ^.^

  • is the Joker in it?

  • I own it, it is sync. If it's not synced here, it is simply because of Youtube.

  • This is awesome. It his an Afro-Samurai feel to it, but at the same time it captures Batman as it really should. Rock on!

  • I do wonder about his look but I prefer not to ask about it.

  • This how batman should look, TOTAL OWNAGE really cool and then the voice of Kevin Conroy

    makes it come alive, AWSOME!!!

  • @mortobo he has the best look in Crossfire IMO

  • @Buli0n He does.

  • This interpretation is my favorite. I dont care hat anyone says. Yes, he does look ugly, I thought so too, at first, but if you really look at it, this was the only segment of the movie where the guys sat down and thought "Let's make an accurate cartoon version of Batman Begins", even down to the costume. (No Bat-undies) This had the best storyline, the best animation, the best fight scene of the entire movie. (You can hardly call the fight with Deadshot a full fight scene.)

  • Scarecrow looks pretty kickass in this

  • this one was my favorite bc it was just soooo awesome. and i dont know why people be complaining "oh he looks ugly" just bc he's not drawn in bright colored big eyed blond hair japanese anime style. This is superb animation at its finest.

  • this is really bad ass but i hate to say it i hate the way he was drawn in this version it looks super weird

  • Totally badass

  • This is how Batman should be

  • Alright Kevin Conroy returns! Woohoo

  • he's hidieous but he's cool

  • Batman is ugly in this cartoon. He looks like a druggy thug in a batsuit. :(

  • there are 5 other segments where he looks different.

  • My favourite rendition ive seen, is the one with the batsuit which has the chinpiece on it. It looks perfect.

The music is absolutly fantastic, and welcome back Kevin Conroy!

  • Nice
