I own and ride mine all the time. I took mine for a 1500 mile ride and it did very well. My trip from FLA to NJ round trip cost me less than taking the same trip in a car. It could use more power, but for what it offers it can't be beat easily.
Certainly an attarctive, modern scoot. Pity there aren't any to be found in the Shreveport, La. area. I understand the Morphous is a technologically advnaced bike.

i was unfortunate enough to have a go on a Burgman 400 once. its cornering ability was on par with the Harley V-Rod i managed to ride half a year later.
as was its ability to filter through traffic.
not to mention that despite having a 400cc engine, my old rusty GPZ250 (RIP) had more top speed and a LOT more acceleration.
scooters are supposed to be sleek, maneuverable and stylish. these monstrosities defeat the purpose of owning a scooter.
that was also a piece of shit. i've ridden a 1998 180cc Hexagon... damn thing had so much vibration all you could see when you looked in the mirrors was a blur.
cornering ability was crap, especially at low speeds (same as any other 'maxi scooter').
the Gilera Runner VXR200 is a good scooter. looks and handles just like the 50cc equivalent and performs pretty well.
if you want something big and bulky with a lot of ccs, get a fucking motorcycle. big heavy scooters are pointless.

my dad has one and he enjoys going out in it when he doesn't have to take his truck. I rode with him and it felt nice. It wasn't too fast and it can ride on dirt road as well as asphalt. I like that for my dad better than a motorcycle cause he is getting old and that scooter would be better for him in that sense. Yeah it is pretty ugly but there are alot of compartments for items if he was to go to the store. I think it is great for students who are saving money on gas.

I have one and it's true, the storage compartments aren't much to speak of. So, I bought a barrel bag, attached it with easy clip straps to the passenger seat and bamm, instant storage! PLUS, the bag has an attachable pad so you use the bag as a backrest, which is a must because my back is f**ked up!
I can go grocery shopping and load up. If you want to ride with a passenger, just have the bitch hold the bag on her lap or even strap it around her waste so she can hold on to the grab handles!
FWIW, I can fit one full size helmet AND a half size helmet AND a raincoat, AND a set of tools, AND a few books AND a couple of drinks under the seat of my 2004 SYM RV 180.
AND there's room for things between my feet.
And I actually get pissed off because there's so much wasted space under the seat. I still want more space.

They messed up. The bike is hideous. The front did not have to be low. Everything but the front should be low. So close they are to the perfect cruiser but they missed the mark.
Actually, this is one of the few flaws I've seen from the Morphous. Its windscreen isn't that effective, but it's easy enough to switch out with a bigger screen if you don't like the wind.

They messed up. The bike is hideous. The front did not have to be low. Everything but the front should be low. So close they are to the perfect cruiser but they missed the mark.

Actually, this is one of the few flaws I've seen from the Morphous. Its windscreen isn't that effective, but it's easy enough to switch out with a bigger screen if you don't like the wind.
