He's a good boy in the movie and his dad is an alcoholic (after his wife left him). I didn't like the girl he liked in that movie either lol. Edison Chen is also in the movie (scandal with Cecilia).It's a cool racing movie, some hate his acting in this though, so don't expect too much from him. I am not sure if it's based on an anime, sorry.

FAIL. but anyways at 2:47 jay sounds lyk hes doing vocals right but actually he is singing one of the lines in the song BACKWARDS god i speak this language and i never got this STUPID anyways the line is "Only you can hear it." if you have the CD and play it backwards you hear it. I think Jay does that so only we can hear it.

I forgot to add, it is similar to the movie ' Date with an Angel' where a guy gets kidnapped on his engagement party by his buddies, upsetting his fiancee. How I interpret the story is that...

As Jay's getting back with his girlfriend he is slowly falling in love with K and Vice versa.

This is revealed at 2:34 when K leans against the building and looks depressed...she's basically realizing that they can never be together since they're from different worlds...

K decides to reincarnate herself in human form but at the cost of her memory of the "radioactive world" from which she came.

So now as a human she can finally be with him.
