  • In the liner notes of the boxed set, Petty says that for several gigs in a row in Europe, he recalls fights breaking out during the playing of this particular song.

  • This album came out in '82 and this song and change of heart were both played on the radio rock stations - outstanding songs. And yet the most popular song on the album was You got Lucky - my most disliked TP song ever

  • My favorite Petty song. Man, between 1978 and 1984 or so, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers were my favorite band. Still are one on my all-time faves. I wish they would have slipped this gem onto the setlist when I saw them here in Kansas City last year. It was still an awesome show.

  • One of the greatest bands ever!

  • mike cambell great, i love his unique guitar style, heartbreakers rocks!

  • I have loved TP for years, and this is my favorite song by him. It was made on a mix tape for me by one of my high school girlfriends.

  • right on.. definitely one of pettys buried treasures.. it captures a chill, erie and lonely feel while leaving me feeling happy and motivated in a way that no other song does

  • What a song!!!
