God he is AMAZING! a person from my barn rode in a clinic of his, it was so cool! but hey, dont say he has sucky eq, cuz your would be no better over these types of jumps.
Hey as long as u get over the jump it really doesnt matter! but im in luv with richard spooner he is an amazing rider!!! and if u compare him to sum of the other grand prix jumpers he has amazing position!
lol kool video! rich and i kindof know eachother, its really cool! hes really good friends w/ my trainers jim hagman and dan silverstone of elvenstar! omg amazing! dan competes against him sometimes! omg i love richard! hes amazing
he has amazing Equitation and riding skills. He actually sits up straight and drives with his thighs and heels. You aren't supposed to be leaning forward and bouncing out of your seat at the canter, you are supposed to sit planted and tall, with an heir of pride. He has amazing style. he waved at me at Sprice Meadows too, it was pretty cool, and Nick Skelton also said hi to me, because I said hi to him...it was kinda cool too, lol
hes sssooo nice! i met him and he and i got into this very interesting topic about my trainer! they know each other apparently and they know GEORGE MORRIS!!!!!
bloody hell theose jumps are HUGE. god id be shitting myself if i was jumping thoses. u got to give these people credit for having the guts to jump anything like THAT
Passoa, Maylin Baryard, Meredith Beerbaum, Marcus Beerbaum and many other European competitors were there as well. Because it is jumpers, equitation is not necessarily a factor. However, Richard Spooner is known for his "unique style" ;)
what is with the wide wing-like elbows and all the yanking on the horse's mouth. go to europe and learn how to "really" ride instead of torturing horses and embarrassing the USA.
are you serious??? maybe he doesnt have the best "equitation" but he's one of the best american grand prix riders. and he competes in europe and oh yea--- WINS. trust me, he's no embarassment. your the embarassment.
Hey! Richard is one the best grand prix riders there is.. I bet if you hopped on that horse and had to ride it round that course, you wouldn't be paying too must attention to your position would you?!? Give the guy a break and unless you're out there competing grand prix level you cant really dis him.. Hes a brilliant rider!
oh, so you can do better? You can beat him? Generally he destroys the European competition. I don't see many Europeans winning over 100 grand prixs by the way.

It's true but look at his leg position above the jump not really nice for the horse is it?!
I don't know if his horse is always like this it probably was the stress but otherwise he is very lucky he didn't make any mistakes!
