it opens with the game he looses - he's looking back and sees himself happy (the scenes he's in casual clothing) but his facial expression at the end in the suit (present) looks like he's about to go to tears. the lyrics suggest that he had a lot on his mind while they were together - but now looking back everything that he had thought of before is silenced ... and and they are only in his mind now - no longer together.

I heard this song last year for the first time. And I was in a complicated relationship (if I could call it that) with a girl at the time. I havnt seen her in ages this song reminds me of all those times I used to just wake up happy knowing that I was going to see her face. I wish that I could just rewind time and make things better but I cant. And its tearin me apart.I hope that one day I get the chance to make it up to her.
