Isn't it convienient that stefan didn't care if elena lived, died, became a vampire, whatever and when she mentions she kissed damon he suddenly has emotion and is mad, jelous, and sad? Not that it's a bad thing for the show. I wasn't expecting them to keep him as evil stefan for close to this long. He can't be a one sided good or bad so now he's both to some extent. u know i rather have a vampire diaries season 3 series finale with a decent ending . then bear more humour less far too streched episodes for no reason of the show . i mean simpsons was so fun till season 10 but after that it was far to streched and without any humour or concept . i mean vampire diaries was so fun before the mid season ending .but now its like what happened to the amazing concept .

Anyway, i won't judge Stefan, he's stuck on 17 .. but he needs to be with someone at his age- either Katherine or Caroline, and Damon should be with Elena, because he was always unloved and unwanted, that's only fair to me.

Damon and Stefan are two incredibly damaged but loving people who both need and love her. @Ladyjaxs I don't think that Stefan can't control his human-blood addiction. He did it in the past with lexi. I know it took him several years. But in season 1 ( which people often forgets) he again got off the rail for a little while due to his blood addiction problem but still with the help of Elena he was able to get over it in 1x20 relatively quicker
Before Klaus showed up, that was one of Stefan's struggles in regards to feeding.I know that being a vamp there some ingrained need to feed off humans. But he managed to control it and find better way to survive for 50 or so years. Like airoes96 was saying that some delena fans were saying that damon just feeds to survive and stefan"just likes the taste of blood" if that was the case then why would stefan deprive himself of human blood for years....if that was the case that makes no sense.~

@Ladyjaxs I know even a vampire can become a 'better' vampire just like humans can become better humans. But the point is that vampires killing and feeding themselfs with human blood will remain. It is like a 'drive' that is built in a vampire and can not be changed.

My theory (pt 3)= So in his eyes, vengeance is the only thing left. Whether Elena hates him in the process, he already thinks he's lost her. Doesn't mean he doesn't care. Just that he thinks he's lost her.
My theory (pt 2)= Stefan hates Klaus, but now he hates himself more. So when Stefan left Mystic Falls with Klaus, he counted himself lost to Elena because he had become the very thing he always tried to protect Elena against. Erego, Stefan blames Klaus for his loss of Elena. I think when Stefan says "Klaus took everything", what he means is "Klaus took Elena".
Okay. So part of the animosity stems from Stefan's behavior, right? Here's my theory(pt 1)= Stefan's out for vengeance because Klaus "took everything from him", right? Well, think about it. What did Klaus take? Because of Klaus's deal, in order to save Damon, Stefan had to become the very thing he deplores most. So essentially, Klaus took away a part of Stefan: the non-ripper part, the part of him with whom he could live, and the part with whom Elena fell in love.

@xLightningSoulx his second choice? ha, he was just loyal to his girlfriend, because he had hope that Katherine still loved him. Stelena got together in two episodes without knowing each other, it's rushed and based on an "epic'' conversation we never saw, they stagnated since S1 at point 1, they fell in love with an illusion of their partners at that moment. If Katherine is and has always loved Stefan more, logically, the opposite would be fair for Elena.
Another thing is that Stefan watched Elena after saving her from the accident back then was to make sure she was nothing like Katherine even though I know both Salvatores were intrigued by Elena due to her resemblance with Katherine. No one can deny it. But Stefan Loves Elena because of the reason that she was nothing like Katherine. Damon didn't get involved in Elena until Katherine kind of rejected him in 2x1. He was ready to be with Katherine back then.Its like Elena is Damon's second choice!

I love TVD, and I recently realised that all the "evil" in it has a deeper meaning. People have that kind of darkness for a reason. In fact, most of the frowned upon characters turn out to have lots of good. Or some good, anyway. I don't think Elena will be choosing between good and evil when she eventually decides about Damon or Stefan- she'll be choosing between her first love, and possibly her second...

@xkfireflieskx But real love or not. I called it in the sense that she was first in a relationship with matt. After all he was her first Love interest. Maybe later Elena didn't find that relationship compatible or something worth to 'carry on' with. Even i think that Matt still have feelings for Elena & not only as a friend!
You know what I realised, in the beginning the vampire diaries tend to introduce "bad" characters to us, but as we learn more about them and they dig deeper you really start to understand the characters more, and that they all share something in common. I noticed that with Klaus, Katherine, Elijah, Damon, and so on.. That's why I love the show :)

I love watching TVD but sometimes just reading comments on youtube for VD clips is just as fun (almost). I hope and think that the producers of VD read these comments to get inspiration. I'm a delena shipper, but without stelena there wouldn't be a show. The great thing is that even if it sometimes seems like it's war between stelena and delena, the most important thing is the show!
I think both of the Salvators brothers are actually good vampires but one is willing to keep it a secret because he's never wanted to become one and doesn't really know every day how to manage it and the other appeared to be a converted vampire cos he was really bad at the begging of every thing. It's not very clear, but that's normal haha. Any guess of who is who ? ;)
Just because its on the cw doesn't make a difference! the other poster it depends on how many people voted. I'm a VD/cw fan, but I don't make it a habit of going on the cw website everyday! Plus if people are questioning you about the poll then that should tell you something right there. I think that there is just as many stelena fans as delena, and if everyone was for delena then why do we have these constant fan wars over who elens should be with?
@KatiiBabiii It's not just any poll, this CW poll is very important, it's official, and therefore the writers obviously saw the results. Delena fans wins on every single poll, that's a very known fact, but don't be sad, i love Stelena too, but 2 seasons is pretty much enough, i want some Delena action to keep things interesting! :D
@Vanya004 The Polls can never be accurate. It depends upon the people who vote in. Majority of the people dont even know if such kind of poll is conducted. Even if we assume that Delena fans are 83 %. You conduct the poll again you will find a different percentage. It will always vary. I didn't voted in that pole. Does that mean i'm not a Stelena fan...?:D
oh and you also missed the part where he said "I feel Elena, and it sucks. What sucks even more is that it was supposed to be me, Jules was coming after me." it takes a lot of depth to understand both characters.

I don't think what Damon did in season 1 or 2 was right. But i think he had his reasons.

@airoes96 I'm sorry but last i checked Damon didn't love Elena in S1, and Stefan knew that Elena doesn't want to become a vampire, yet he did it, at the same bridge that her parents died... very proud of him. I totallty disagree that the reason that Stefan gave elena his blood because he wanted her to die.....I agree that stefan went a bit far in using elena as a way to get to Klaus. But it was obvious that he still cares for her, when he said that he didn't care what she thought of him. He looked like he was going to breakdown. Elena was young and heart broken, she needed Stefan once upon a time but as fast as they came together they were falling apart. However... Damon being honest with Elena has its advantages, whereas Stefan kept secrets from her, Damon had nowhere to go but up... it's just how it works.

The fact that, Stefan spent a good portion of his relationship with Elena lying about his past, never allowing her to discover his true self is NOT true love. I understand he was compelled with Klaus in the beginning of season 3 so it was different. but i think she was referring to Stefan in his ripper days, before he had changed to nice Stefan. Damon also felt guilty for what he did, he also wanted to die because of it, but the point is this season he changed because of Elena, and he is still proud of what Stefan did(to scare Klaus) even though it risked Elena's life, so I think the bond between Stefan and Damon will never break.

@KatarinaTVD That list is not about "feeling bad", Stefan COLLECTED those murders. My opinion have nothing to do with ships, but you can't say that Stefan is good and Damon is bad. They BOTH have good AND bad moments in their lives, and they both have reasons for it (Stefan because he lost Elena and wants revenge, and Damon was acting bad in the past because of the pain of looking for Katherine and then her not being in the tomb). If Stefan did bad but was always good inside, so was Damon.

Isn't it convienient that stefan didn't care if elena lived, died, became a vampire, whatever and when she mentions she kissed damon he suddenly has emotion and is mad, jelous, and sad? Not that it's a bad thing for the show. I wasn't expecting them to keep him as evil stefan for close to this long. He can't be a one sided good or bad so now he's both to some extent. @Ladyjaxs I don't think that Stefan can't control his human-blood addiction. He did it in the past with lexi. I know it took him several years. But in season 1 ( which people often forgets) he again got off the rail for a little while due to his blood addiction problem but still with the help of Elena he was able to get over it in 1x20 relatively quicker

Before Klaus showed up, that was one of Stefan's struggles in regards to feeding.I know that being a vamp there some ingrained need to feed off humans. But he managed to control it and find better way to survive for 50 or so years. Like airoes96 was saying that some delena fans were saying that damon just feeds to survive and stefan"just likes the taste of blood" if that was the case then why would stefan deprive himself of human blood for years....if that was the case that makes no sense.~

It is essential for them especially human blood(instead of animal). I know it is hard to understand but vampires are conflicted because they feel the guilt, this is their human side but they also need to survive. And surviving is their basic instinct.

My theory (pt 2)= Stefan hates Klaus, but now he hates himself more. So when Stefan left Mystic Falls with Klaus, he counted himself lost to Elena because he had become the very thing he always tried to protect Elena against. Erego, Stefan blames Klaus for his loss of Elena. I think when Stefan says "Klaus took everything", what he means is "Klaus took Elena".

Okay. So part of the animosity stems from Stefan's behavior, right? Here's my theory(pt 1)= Stefan's out for vengeance because Klaus "took everything from him", right? Well, think about it. What did Klaus take? Because of Klaus's deal, in order to save Damon, Stefan had to become the very thing he deplores most. So essentially, Klaus took away a part of Stefan: the non-ripper part, the part of him with whom he could live, and the part with whom Elena fell in love.

@xLightningSoulx his second choice? ha, he was just loyal to his girlfriend, because he had hope that Katherine still loved him. Stelena got together in two episodes without knowing each other, it's rushed and based on an "epic'' conversation we never saw, they stagnated since S1 at point 1, they fell in love with an illusion of their partners at that moment. If Katherine is and has always loved Stefan more, logically, the opposite would be fair for Elena.

Another thing is that Stefan watched Elena after saving her from the accident back then was to make sure she was nothing like Katherine even though I know both Salvatores were intrigued by Elena due to her resemblance with Katherine. No one can deny it. But Stefan Loves Elena because of the reason that she was nothing like Katherine. Damon didn't get involved in Elena until Katherine kind of rejected him in 2x1. He was ready to be with Katherine back then.Its like Elena is Damon's second choice!

I love TVD, and I recently realised that all the "evil" in it has a deeper meaning. People have that kind of darkness for a reason. In fact, most of the frowned upon characters turn out to have lots of good. Or some good, anyway. I don't think Elena will be choosing between good and evil when she eventually decides about Damon or Stefan- she'll be choosing between her first love, and possibly her second...

You know what I realised, in the beginning the vampire diaries tend to introduce "bad" characters to us, but as we learn more about them and they dig deeper you really start to understand the characters more, and that they all share something in common. I noticed that with Klaus, Katherine, Elijah, Damon, and so on.. That's why I love the show :)

See, you only read what you want to read.. I Don't blame Stefan for everything. I never said I put all the blame on him. I said both brothers have done good and bad, both brothers are epic. @airoes96 I'm sorry but last i checked Damon didn't love Elena in S1, and Stefan knew that Elena doesn't want to become a vampire, yet he did it, at the same bridge that her parents died... very proud of him. Damon fell in love with her true self, unlike St. Stefan who stalked her since her parents died just to assure she's not Katherine... true love indeed.

I Totally respect Delena Fans but believe it or not Delena is based on Guilt as said by Damon in 3x10 & Elena at least yet 'considers it wrong'.I don't call it as true love, its just look like an affair to me.Not only them Bonnie, Alaric,Caroline also don't think its Right at least for now.Sometimes I laugh at the fact that Katherine was so right back then when she used to mess up in Stefan's mind like in 2x4 memory lane episode which looked so wrong then but its actually a kind of reality now!

I totallty disagree that the reason that Stefan gave elena his blood because he wanted her to die.....I agree that stefan went a bit far in using elena as a way to get to Klaus. But it was obvious that he still cares for her, when he said that he didn't care what she thought of him. He looked like he was going to breakdown. Plus, if Stefan really wanted her dead then she would be dead.

Stefan gave Elena his blood wanting her to die. Damon gave Elena his blood because he wanted her to live- Welcome to the show now, the quotes from last seasons doesn't quite bother me. @airoes96 You can't use those quotes forever, the story develops & the characters change. The only constant in life is CHANGE. Elena was young and heart broken, she needed Stefan once upon a time but as fast as they came together they were falling apart. However... Damon being honest with Elena has its advantages, whereas Stefan kept secrets from her, Damon had nowhere to go but up... it's just how it works.

The fact that, Stefan spent a good portion of his relationship with Elena lying about his past, never allowing her to discover his true self is NOT true love. Damon was himself with her all along, & he's the one who carries her from hell. Remember in 2x20 how Elena said that she's 17 & still doesn't know what love is? That was perfectly put. She can't stay with a teenager her whole life anyway...

@airoes96 I actually just watched the scene in 2x12 where Damon says he can't be who "she" wants him to be, he also said "I'm not Human, and I miss it. I miss it more than anything in the world. That is my secret, but there's only so much hurt a man can take." I think both brothers felt guilt at one point or another, either way they're both epic characters :D

I understand he was compelled with Klaus in the beginning of season 3 so it was different. but i think she was referring to Stefan in his ripper days, before he had changed to nice Stefan. Damon also felt guilty for what he did, he also wanted to die because of it, but the point is this season he changed because of Elena, and he is still proud of what Stefan did(to scare Klaus) even though it risked Elena's life, so I think the bond between Stefan and Damon will never break.

@megatron20000 I don't remember Damon crying after killing anyone but Rose in this show. By the way, Stefan felt so bad about killing people, he made a whole list. He was bad in past, but he changed. @KatarinaTVD That list is not about "feeling bad", Stefan COLLECTED those murders. My opinion have nothing to do with ships, but you can't say that Stefan is good and Damon is bad. They BOTH have good AND bad moments in their lives, and they both have reasons for it (Stefan because he lost Elena and wants revenge, and Damon was acting bad in the past because of the pain of looking for Katherine and then her not being in the tomb). If Stefan did bad but was always good inside, so was Damon.
